  1. on the Cardinals board, a slight majority of their fans think the Panthers will win...most of the rest think it will be a toss up. They are not a confident bunch.
  2. against the Celtics...was hoping we'd sign a big man, but looks like we're rolling with the young guys. if you weren't paying attention, here's what we did over the summer September DATE TRANSACTION September 26, 2022 Signed G LiAngelo Ball. September 23, 2022 Signed G Dennis Smith Jr. September 12, 2022 Signed Gs Jalen Crutcher and Jaylen Sims and Fs Anthony Duruji and Isaiah Whaley. July DATE TRANSACTION July 6, 2022 Re-signed F Cody Martin. July 2, 2022 Signed C Mark Williams to a rookie scale contract. Signed G Bryce McGowens to a two-way contract.
  3. good stuff, thanks so much. Starting to feel better about Brown...I saw some clips on twitter that looked, as you say, almost elite.
  4. Bill Voth @PanthersBill · 1m Panthers now 2/11 on third down. Giants are 3/13.
  5. Field Yates @FieldYates · 3m Bucs WR Mike Evans and Saints CB Marshon Lattimore were both ejected after a brawl on the field.
  6. Ari Meirov @MySportsUpdate #Saints QB Jameis Winston is playing today with 4 fractures in his back, per @JayGlazer , and he's in a lot of pain. There is no risk of further damage and he's wearing pads to protect the area.
  7. Joe Person @josephperson · 2m Time to give Rashard Higgins a shot. That's two drops by Shi Smith.
  8. AR dropped a long bomb in the hands of a wide open receiver who I think they said was a rookie, and he looked at the sideline with a "you know who would have caught that?" look. I think this is his last season as a Packer.
  9. good to see the thread alive and well...I announced in the last Game Menu thread I was retiring from doing it...and was hoping someone else would pick up the tradition. During my 5 or so years of doing it, the Panthers have been ass. Hoping a change will bring us some better karma...will still post though
  10. He retired after the last game last year. Hopefully someone will take over the tradition
  11. Mary Kay Cabot @MaryKayCabot · 2h #Browns have placed CB Greedy Williams (hamstring) on IR, where he must remain for at least four games Ellis L. Williams @BookofEllis One of the Browns top 3 CBs will not play Sunday
  12. if there truly is a problem between our coaches and TMJ we might be about to find out. We are missing a lot of picks in the next couple of drafts, I hope we can find a player to trade if it happen.
  13. this is so funny. I check our division foes boards daily except for Tampa. They would only have 2 or 3 posts a day...until they got Brady...then it was 100% "We're the best team in football!" delivered with arrogance from an unknown destination....one of the funniest things I've ever seen. talk about zero to 60, and when Brady leaves, it'll be a screeching stop with brakes locked....and will stay that way.
  14. Garret and Clowney are big concerns, particularly with a rookie LT
  15. Jeremy usually slams the door on the nattering nabobs of negativism on the first game day.
  16. and might as well add in CBS All NFL South Team Offensive skill positions QB: Tom Brady (TB) RB: Christian McCaffrey (CAR) WR: Mike Evans (TB), Chris Godwin (TB), D.J. Moore (CAR) TE: Kyle Pitts (ATL) FLEX: Alvin Kamara (NO) Perhaps the easiest quarterback selection of this entire exercise was Brady over the likes of Marcus Mariota, Jameis Winston, and Baker Mayfield. If CMC can just stay on the field, he is going to be the most productive running back in the NFL. We know that based on his history. The injuries he's suffered are not of the type that should be career-changing, so we're betting on his finally getting back to himself. Offensive line OT: Tristan Wirfs (TB), Ryan Ramczyk (NO) G: Shaq Mason (TB), Chris Lindstrom (ATL) Bradley Bozeman (CAR) Defensive front EDGE: Brian Burns (CAR), Cameron Jordan (NO) IDL: Vita Vea (TB), Grady Jarrett (ATL) LB: Lavonte David (TB), Demario Davis (NO) FLEX: Shaquil Barrett (TB) We were very aggressive in pushing a breakout season from Burns a year ago, and we got it. He matched his 2020 sack total with nine, but made more plays in the backfield, increased his pressure rate, and got himself to the Pro Bowl. He's an ascending player and should have another excellent year. Defensive backfield CB: A.J. Terrell (ATL), Marshon Lattimore (NO), Jaycee Horn (CAR) SAF: Antoine Winfield Jr. (TB), Jeremy Chinn (CAR) https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/2022-nfl-mvp-odds-picks-justin-herbert-josh-allen-best-bets-plus-more-staff-award-picks/
