I think he is an important player and serves as a moral compass for the team but I don't think he's the most important. It's Svech and it's not that close tbh. I do think that Slavin has been integral in training and grooming our D core and he is very important however.

I really thought Toronto out played them the last two games. I would have liked to see the Lafs take them to at least 6 games but they really got screwed on the no goal call. Either way, I thought the Leafs out performed the Panthers the last two games which gives me some optimism. I'm not sure what to make of it, this is a series where having Svech would be very nice. I think our team is grittier, and has better depth scoring, but I think the Panthers have a few higher end players right now. Ultimately our team isn't goind to back down. I think the zebras are going to have a lot to do with the outcome of this series. We have to find our power play this series or it's going to be tough sledding.

Raleigh is a great town and I've only lived in Charlotte before. If the Panthers did ever move to Raleigh then it wouldn't phase my fandom one bit. I'd actually be sort of excited. I love heading to Raleigh for Canes games.

The GM is responsible for finding players that fit the system right. If we're finding players that we can plug and play into our system that only speaks more of they kind of job that Waddell is doing....all without screwing our cap up. Think clearly men, we have great management. This is the Charlotte Hornets here.

I just don't understand why people are are so tough on Waddell. I think he has done an incredible job of managing this team for the last decade. Kane has a hip injury and deciding on surgery. Meier hasn't really produced for the Devils. Horvat scored a garbage time goal and that's about it. I think this is more about fans not knowing what we have in our current prospects then Waddell's lack of making moves at the deadline. Also you have to think Rod is involved with this decision. Rod has a tendency to not want to make many moves at the deadline. Our franchise values continuity and I appreciate that. We're a perennial playoff team and regarded as one of the best run organizations in the NHL. Let's keep it that way.

City of Charlotte is ran by idiots. They should have got ahead of this 4 or 5 years ago and it would have cost half. They should know more than anyone that property and construction doesn't deppreciate. Sadly 1.2billion is a deal right now in the world of NFL stadiums. Absolutely idiotic leadership.

Corral was a 3rd round qb in an atrocious qb draft class, and he fits the bill for just that. He has a nice release, but does not know what to do under center.

1 year deal stop gap until we can get our guy next year is fine. We have the room.
