  1. New Orleans is ready for absolutely everything we do offensively
  2. I said earlier and I wasn’t joking that I know pop Warner kids playing CB who understand certain technical nuances better than him its honestly remarkable he managed to coast this far on whatever
  3. I know literal little league corners who are more technically sound than cj henderson
  4. he’s just worried about his image he doesn’t care what you think (unless you’re shilling for him) but he does care what nfl people think hes desperate to convey he’s not unhinged and emotional and will off anyone on a whim (probably shouldn’t have fired your succeeding soccer coach if you were going for this) if I had any trust this was about attracting good coaching candidates and not just preserving his image I’d say leaking this kind of thing was the right move but no, I really do think it’s just an ego thing he’s rationalizing as practicality
  5. I’ve been a fan of this team through a few rough stretches and this is absolutely the worst it’s ever been. even when the team was bad you still had guys you wanted to root for and who bought into the team and it’s culture and Keep Pounding. i talked myself into going to to the first day of TC this season and remember coming up over the hill, looking down at the field and thinking “wow, I literally do not care about any of these guys.” it’s not all their fault. You have a few guys like Thompson and Burns and Chinn that have tried to step up and be “Panthers.” but ownership has been absolutely consumed with tearing down the legacy of the Richardson era since it got here and Matt rhule wants a team full of quiet, boring hum drum professionals that will let him be the voice and face of the team because he so passionately believes his The Brand is the way say what you want about Richardson but the dude never wanted the spotlight and always pushed the football team and it’s players first the team spends most of it’s PR these days telling us what great new project Dave tepper has going on and how thankful we should all be, peppering in some jangling keys (black helmets) to try and satiate the fanbase he has no interest in listening to it probably won’t get better after rhule unless we just straight fluke into something good
  6. yeah I don’t really have much expectations for this organization as long as tepper is the owner
  7. the nfl has hit its peak and the bubble will soon burst and I’m going to revel in it when it does
  8. Dave tepper has absolutely no testicles if he doesn’t make a very public stink about this I’ve veered dangerously close to the apathy line with the nfl and this may very well push me into it
  9. It’s impossible to enjoy this sport when the standard or officiating is so low No other sport has these problems to this extent
  10. no, we’re not cherry picking who we like and omitting them from the accountability of their own failures scott fitterer has made detrimental and substantial errors and has co-signed poor decisions
  11. a comprehensive deconstruction of the fitterer/Rhule era everybody they went in on has contributed falls at Dave tepper s feet.
  12. people need to understand that the game has changed into an inferior product by owners with pie charts who are going to squeeze every penny out of what the charts say with no regard for the enduring popularity of the sport after they’ve moved on from the team and don’t have a financial stake in it
  13. it looked hilariously bad on the tv, nice and plasticy but it comforts me to know that tepper is saving a little money at least
  14. “Delhomme’s most poignant memory of Mills came earlier that season, a few days after a loss to Dallas. Delhomme recalled feeling sore, sluggish and uncharacteristically sorry for himself as he walked to practice. Then Mills jogged past, slapped Delhomme on the back side and said, "Let’s go get better." Delhomme refers to that moment as an awakening in which he told himself: "You need to grow up and try to be just a tenth of this guy." "Everybody knew he was dying," Delhomme continued. "He was doing chemo. And he’s running out to practice ... and he’s going to coach his ass off."
  15. This roster seems devoid of men who know this legacy and the impact of this man, and I hope discussion may help change that Sam Mills could’ve been at home taking care of himself, not working 15 hour work days for that familiar Panther logo. but it meant that much to him. get up in this thread and spend some time thinking on the man who truly Kept Pounding on the day he finally gets what he earned.
