  1. A running back like Benson and Brooks might be the best players available at 39. All other positions will be in the best 3 to 5 best players. For example, picking the best available WR on the board at the time might be the 5th best in the draft. While Benson or Brooks might be the best in the draft at their positions.
  2. Seems like Troy isn't a great route runner. He can run routes but doesn't use much head and sharp cuts to create separation. He relies on speed to get open. His strength is down the field play. Med cross routes, post routes, and fades. Would need some time to learn new techniques in route running, but knows how to run the wr route tree. At pick 39, he would be a safe pick.
  3. 33. A. Ladd McConkey B. Jackson Powers-Johnson 39. A. Xavier Worthy B. Payton Wilson
  4. Just because slot might be their natural position does not mean they can't play outside. In the NFL most WRs got to learn all three positions.
  5. They would work better together
  6. Really think Ladd going 1st round. Thinking Worthy will be there at 33.
  7. Same here, seems like a dream come true. But I did have both available in one of my mocks. I picked JPJ at 33 and Ladd at 39.
  8. Exactly what I'm thinking they will do. If Legette is taken, they will draft Corley.
  9. Looks like Panthers might be trading pick 33 or 39. Top 30 visits is looks like it.
  10. McConkey probably going to Buffalo, right before the Chiefs.
  11. Ladd McConkey, but if not him, any route runner with pure separation abilities.
  12. This better be an April fools joke!
  13. Dynamic route runners are needed. Route runners that can create separation in 2.7 seconds. Route runners that can run EVERY route in the WR Route Tree. Route runners that DBs fear. Route runners with great footwork. Pick 33 needs to be a great route runner if WR is taken. My favorite pick would be Ladd McConkey, but other route runners can be taken later. Double dip - Ladd McConkey and Pearsall, or Ladd and whoever.
  14. Should be focused on route runners that create separation quickly.
  15. dylan laube close to CMC skills, can get in 5th round.
  16. Mingo was a reach, and Legette will be if taken at 33.
  17. Panthers had 2 in attendance for McConkey Pro Day, while having the heaviest of any NFL team at South Carolina Pro Day with 10 from the organization in attendance. Legette, really could be the 33rd pick if he's on the board.
  18. How about both McConkey and Legette then. I would take a DE or LB with 33 or 39 though, but both McConkey and Legette together could be fun to watch.
  19. He's one of my sleepers in my mocks, but I wouldn't pass on Ladd because of him. Would just pick both of them. Know telling what the organization would do though.
