  1. He's having some of the worst stat lines since Clausen. It's bad. Bridgewater was getting us nowhere but Darnold is taking us in reverse...and off the cliff. Ciao
  2. Yeah it is honestly time for Brady to show his worth OL woes aside. A team that can’t get passing TDs at a decent volume this day is not solely because of a bad interior line.
  3. Might as well see what Michael Jordan can do at LG and Deonte at RG. It's not like Jordan has no starting experience and Deonte, we're just waiting on that one. But Miller and Daley's play is simply unacceptable. I really thought they were going to be more competent but it seems they just can't cut the mustard and it's become a sh*t sandwich.
  4. I think combo but agree. It's not that Darnold doesn't go through reads but if his first read isn't there, it's like he has this jitter bug nature to him on deciding where to go. Yes, we have an OL situation but even in his clean pockets, he doesn't seem to see the whole field. He's one, two, three, rather than more a field scanning the field approach with anticipation. The fact that Marshall, Robby, and our TEs production has fallen off so much is telling we're trying to cater this offense to his benefit but now that defenses have responded, it's time to respond on offense...and we haven't been. We really need to see him reading the field better and distributing to the right guys at the right time.
  5. How hard is it to have a crew, in a booth, that yays or nays everything as it's seen? We have 60+ year old screwballs with minimal credentials that cannot spot correctly, cannot keep up with the pace and judge correctly, and cannot clearly see fumbles or INTs as they should be. How hard is it to just introduce a booth that oversees their likely susceptible calls that are hard to see in real time? I mean, c'mon NFL. That's not the game breaker today, the girls were a better team in the 2nd half but still. That sh*t pissed me off. Sax out.
  6. Then we go OL crazy next year and round out this roster. And then maybe add another S and RB.
  7. Foster could've been such a stud. Injuries really suck.
  8. Nice article. Has a very nice assessment of why our base 3-4 isn't typical. We can surprise 4 man rush. It's not always from the same 4 guys when the OL is facing 6 with two standing on the edge. And factoring how athletic they all are, the types we've targeted makes total sense.
  9. Oh no doubt about Foster. Comparing impact potential not necessarily their styles.
  10. Chuba boi! He has a real presence about him. Once he shook off the sudden thrusting into the game, he slowed down and picked it up. So I think he's ready for the moment and NFL speed. He basically admitted to having a few/2-3 tripping forward type runs; I don't see an issue after he adjusted. And then looking back, checking out his highlights, I mean nice. I don't see why he can't at least have a Deshaun Foster type impact for us like back in 2005 when we were going into the year planning for the bulk still with Stephen Davis but he suddenly looked fried (minus all those short TDs). It's like a similar team where we could still succeed with injuries and make it to the playoffs. That was Fox's best team IMO, just plagued with injuries only 1 season removed from the SB and our top guys like Peppers and Smitty were peaking.
  11. I personally like what they’re doing with Singletary & Moss in Buffalo (Although think they’ve got some downsides as players). Same with Gordon and Williams in Denver. Cleveland with the Chubb and Wacko McHunt. I, however, prefer not to have a SF, PHI, LAR type situation. Dat’s gross right der
  12. I agree. Not trying to jump on him like a mob here, I just think his growth should be monitored this season. It’s important to our success and closing out games. As I said above, Rivera’s squads never had the close out mentality Brady has. But we have these weird stall outs where it’s like he gets too cute when he has sooo many weapons at his disposal. Highly optimistic he’s a top OC by years end but there were a few moments if slightly off could’ve been big momentum swings. B-
  13. Thanks for the candid replies. I’ll remain optimistic. Trust he’s got the trajectory and acumen. He’s been highly touted for a reason. We never closed a close game like that ever with a Rivera (or very rarely)
  14. Or we could just limit his load and find a complimentary situation on a rookie deal. Maybe we found that in China. I’d rather run the O through a QB leader and committee than being over reliant on a bell cow but your analogy is way off
  15. Notables for consideration: -off tackle weak side on second and shorts -a slack of early 1st and 2nd down in the gun -lack of true spread (don’t know if it’s on Darnold’s progressions though) This is the moment where Hubbatd, Arnold, Tremble, Marshall can step up and am looking at them. But there are questionable hiccups. Not consistent, like I said “almost” but he has these moments where it’s almost like he’s thinks he’s in 4D when the opposition is looking at it for what it is.
  16. Yeah. My weird thing is he makes me feel more comfortable on 3rd and longs than 3rd and shorts. He’s young and bright so I trust he can learn and adjust. Hence my patience but he’s got some short yardage head scratchers. We could’ve had some easy bootleg TE tds in the redzone this year that were 3 pt drives.
  17. I’m trying to stay patient but he leaves me with some very head scratching calls no matter the personnel we have in. Today was hard with our main dudes getting dinged, but I’ve gotta say, the short yardage play calling and poor protection scheming on misdirects just kills me.
  18. His game looked small but he got adjusted and ended it with good awareness and security. I’m hopeful with him and Royce. A ton more than with Mike Davis and Bonnafon. More upside, more big play potential.
  19. Hubbard started to shake of the nerves, Freeman looked great. Hold that for 4 weeks and CMC gets back at 5-2 and we could be ready for a run. Positive thoughts. I love you all
  20. Great time for Bouye/Jackson/Taylor/Chinn/Chandler to show what they’ve got At least we’re not in years like Melvin White and whosyamamma back there
  21. If CMC is a strain or sprain, we give him 3-5 weeks off, stay in contention and come back with fireeeeee
  22. Depending on the break, that’s not even season ending.
