  1. Maybe he'll browse the Huddle and listen to some of the opinions here. After all, we were right more than Scott. Not sure how much of an accomplishment that really is, but a lot of us were probably drunk.
  2. Even if we don't win, if decisions are being made that are in the best interest of the franchise moving forward, I'm good with that.
  3. I wish the best for Dan. I really do. But the fact that Nicole was involved in the interviewing process for the new GM tells me all I really need to know. Dave hasn't learned his lesson and he's making major decisions based partially on the opinion(s) of underqualified people. It's just more of the same and there's nothing to get excited about. Panther fans are going to be wishing we were the Browns. I had zero faith in the leadership of this franchise. Somehow now, I have even less.
  4. Sanders wasn't a good signing. Anyone that ran behind that line in Philly looked like a pro bowler.
  5. From Goff, Sewell, St Brown, La Porta, Montgomery and Gibbs to Bryce, Icky, Sanders, Chubba, Thielen, Mingo, and TMJ. I mean who wouldn't wanna jump ship for that.
  6. As someone with a family member that deals with some pretty serious side effects of post concussion syndrome, that poo is not something to be made fun of.
  7. I'm still trying to figure out what in the fug Nicole Tepper knows about hiring a GM for an NFL franchise.
  8. As a coach, there's no way in hell I'm coming to Carolina knowing I have no choice but to start Young to continue "evaluations." Either he can beat out the guys in camp, or he can't. And if he can't, then he needs to be on the bench. And if you have to start him despite him not being able to beat out the competition, that order is coming from upstairs. Young is a sunk cost at this point. He's player A up against player B, C and D. That's how you have to evaluate him. If playing Young is a requirement, you might as well hire some limp dick head coach that's already failed miserably in the NFL to guarantee that first pick. But firing him at the end of the season just to hire another one that will be able to pick their QB is going to make things even more intolerable around here. The goal should always be winning. Dalton should have been starting from day 1 here last year if that was the ultimate goal. Personally, I don't think it was. Bryce wasn't ready to be the day 1 starter and it showed. I think it was Tepper trying to show he was smarter than everyone else and he ended up looking like a dumbass, again. We'll know by the coaching hire if we're trying or if we're tanking for 2025 and having our 1st rounder back for a QB selection. But if we're looking for a coach who is ready to ride or die with Bryce, based on what we've seen so far in 16 games, our list of candidates is going to be really short.
  9. If he has a sophomore slump, the only reason he will be playing is because of Tepper not wanting to admit a mistake, aka being a meddling owner, or we are tanking for the 25' 1st overall. If he's playing worse than he did this year and still starting, there's going to be a lot of money to be made betting against the Panthers.
  10. It's not that they were massively shorter, but they were playing against a much lower level of competition giving him pocket time he doesn't get in the NFL. The best defenders he faced on a weekly basis are now JAGs on every team. This isn't a slight increase in the competition level we're talking about and the difference is showing. I'm not sure what games you were watching, bit his lack of ability is pretty apparent. He isn't seeing NFL open receivers and he's not making the powerful throws necessary to drive the ball by planting his feet when he's hopping or throwing off his toes on nearly every pass. His footwork is atrocious and his urgency in the pocket is tortoise like. If I didn't know it and you told me that was the number 1 QB in the draft, I'd call BS because at best he looks like a late rounder or udfa right now. As far as the line goes, BC to LT, Icky to guard, competition at center and RG and Moton stays where he is. Go find someone mean and nasty in the draft or clone Norwell. And for fugs sake, design an offense that actually suits what our line does well.
  11. Went back and reread the thread about Detroit hiring Campbell as HC. Some people were bagging on him pretty hard. I'd love to have him as our HC. He's turned the Lions around.
  12. He was there while we were out of it less than halfway through the season. Bag on him for a bad pick but at least he was there to throw it.
  13. Baker showing environment matters. Carolina is a sewer.
  14. Is it fair to call the Panthers a professional football "team"?
  15. If I had to chose between the 4 to make a have to have TD catch, it would have been Bersin. He had hands of glue. If we could have put his fearlessness, work ethic and hands onto KB, that would have been something to see.
  16. You can demand it all you want, but we all know he'll back out for a couple of weeks and then get right back involved again. Even if he violates the contract and has to pay it off, there'd be enough NDA involved that your career trajectory would still be taking a nosedive. Poor decision making in taking a job can be just as damning as the job itself.
  17. Hitching your career to Tepper as a young(ish) coach is just a bad idea. Sure you can get a payday now, but likely your career is going to get flushed down the sewer and you're going to lose any real future opportunities in the league. We're going to end up with a coach that no one else wants looking for a retirement check before leaving the league for good. Tepper is a cancer that even his money can't fix.
  18. VR setup at every home game so we can relive the 2015 season instead of watching whatever the fug this is.
  19. Two guys that have really been on the cutting edge of offense for a while. Hard to go wrong there. I really like Ryans too. Just the way his players talk about him is something else.
  20. Everybody sells their body to someone else for different things. Shes just more willing to cradle a 75 year old ball sack than I am.
  21. The Panthers will be the first to hire a woman as GM. Nicole Tepper.
  22. Dell was Stroud's choice. He wanted him, the Texans picked him.
  23. Probably had a bad zoom interview with Tepper and we weren't interested.
  24. Install lounges pumped full of high quality smoke for everyone of legal age so they don't care about winning or losing, only finding a way to get a $50 beer to help with the cotton mouth.
