  1. Offense is trying to lose this game. Brady and Donald have not been good today.
  2. Daley and Miller have got to get out the lineup going forward. They are killing drives.
  3. I'm hopeful but worried about this game. The Eagles strength is where we are weakest. Hargreaves and Cox are as good of duo DT's as you're going to find in the league.
  4. My theory is Belichick wanted to stick it to Brady and the Bucs. Knowing that they're in the in need of secondary market. This scenario insured he doesn't go there, plus the Panthers and Patriots have played two common opponents, Saints and the Jets; so Bill probably has seen from game film study that this is a up and coming defense and wanted to give an extra boost to Brady's division rival. I'm sure there had to be better offers than a 6th rd pick in 2023 lol
  5. Definitely should give it a look. Linebacker is one of the thinnest positions we have on the team. Former first round talent. We going to go as far as our defense takes us. Depth is always needed.
  6. I don't need a recap I saw with my own two eyes were the pressures and sacks were coming from straight up the A gap. The guards weren't great but Paradis was the main culprit on more than one sack even if his man wasn't credited with it.
  7. I rewatched the full game. 1st sack, Gregory moves Paradis out the way effortless for the sack. 2nd sack, Gregory walks Erving straight to the Qb. 3rd sack, right before the half backed up near the endzone was more of a coverage sack. Sam has to process quicker. Not a sack but opening drive of 3rd quarter crucial 3rd down two Dallas defenders blitz into same A gap, Smith picks up free rusher does a good job, Paradis for some reason doesn't block anyone but does trip the guy from behind as he's falling into Donald to throw off his rhythm and causes incompletion. 4th sack, Parsons lines up right over the center, weak effort by Paradis, Daley has to come off of his man to assist, Parson blows up the the play, Sam scrambles into the sack. Another Dallas player gets the stat but Parsons created it. 5th sack, Smith tries to go low block on Parsons, but he's back up on this feet before Donald can get rid of the ball, results in a sack. All in all the run blocking wasn't that bad this game. Our run defense was the biggest no show. Paradis was by far the worst pass blocking O-lineman. The two interceptions by Donald in the 3rd quarter is what blew the game wide open. I know he had a ton of pressure, but he can't make those mistakes.
  8. Burris is such an underrated player on this team, as good in run defense as he is in pass. Franklin didn't want anything to do with tackling Zeke or Pollard.
  9. The calls that are "non-reviewable" is where the magic gets made.
  10. This I keep hearing we should of drafted this guard, we should of drafted this tackle, none of that matters if your Center is getting bull rushed into your quarterback chest every play. Teams are killing on stunts up the middle of the line. Gregory went through Paradis block on one play as if he was one of the ghost Sam use to see on the field.
  11. Pretty much the tale of the tape. We got whipped in the trenches. I think the defense getting man handled is the most disappointing, we know the O-line had it's limitations, but for us to have any chance in this game the defense was going to need to contain the running game, and they got gashed all game.
  12. Wasn't that the excuse to ship Bridgewater away. Why give up picks just to make a lateral move.
  13. That 54 field-goal attempt killed whatever momentum we had, you don't give a high powered offense, great field position like that in a close game, ridiculous decision.
  14. Panthers 24 Cowboys 14 Panthers have faced two top 10 defenses so far this season, and despite that we are still a top 10 offense in terms of yards. Dallas is the 26th ranked defense the worst ranking we've faced. Alot of people forgot the Cowboys had a historically bad defense last season, and it looks like they are picking up where they left off. They've only been held up by the ridiculous amount of turnovers they've created. Protect the ball and you can make plays on this defense that still isn't great. Dak will be under the most pressure he's faced this year. Let's see if the Cowboys O-line can hold up. The more I've crunched the numbers and looked at all the factors, even though it's a road game, every thing is pointing to the Panthers being the better team and getting this victory.
  15. Especially right at them, their fast but the middle of the defense is their weak part. Both passing and running.
  16. No way Matt Paradis is better at his job than Burns is at his. Like at all.
  17. Every team can say that. Zack Wilson's been sacked 15 times, his sack total a game 5 is almost equal to the year total for Donald at 6. How can anyone rank the Jet's online has performance better than the Panthers. Not the best oline in the league but far from the worst.
  18. Their offensive line can be had. Smith and Martin are all pro, but the other 3 positions on the line are very suspect. The Saints Oline across the more were much better and we dominated and confused them. The Cowboys haven't faced a team that brings pressure the way we do. Philly, Tampa Bay, & Chargers are all in the bottom third of the league in pressuring the quarterbacks, the Panthers are #1 in that department. If the Panthers Oline comes to play and gives Donald time we can move the ball against them, they have aggressive secondary that will gamble that has resulted in them getting interceptions but also leaves them vulnerable to the big play. Which they lead the league in giving up big plays. All in all if the Panthers can stop the running game for the Cowboys, then I believe we will be able to put on pressure on Dak and contain the Cowboys passing attack. Panthers 24 Cowboys 14
  19. It's a fair opinion, road game against a team more than likely will be in the playoffs. I just think this game will be closer than many think. All the signs are pointing in favor of the Panthers. Dallas having a short week, coming off a blowout win over their division rival. Every body telling them have great they are all week, now here comes a well rested team with the #1 defense in the league can Dallas keep that intensity going for 2 weeks straight without smelling themselves, Panthers are the wrong team to have a let down against.
  20. Dallas isn't some juggernaut, they could have very well lost to the Chargers and be sitting at 1-2 right now. They haven't face a defense playing as good as ours yet. Their success is predicated on them being able to run the ball. The Panthers have the best run defense in the league so far. On paper this is the worst pass defense we will have faced. So having McCaffrey out may not be as huge of a blow as otherwise. Their saving grace on defense has been turnovers. Protect the ball and there are plays to be made on their defense. They've allowed over 300 yards passing to all 3 of their opponents including Jalen Hurts and the suspect Eagles offense.
  21. I read this thread still unsure what the behavioral problems were, outside of him being an introvert and maybe aloof. Some innuendo's from total strangers about his family being moochers, outside of that I think it was a good trade.
