  1. Regardless of how I feel about the pick, I really wish people would quit pointing out that Frank dominated Okafor and KAT in the tournament as though that somehow proves his value. He's like 3 fuging years older than them of course he's going to outperform a bunch of 19 year olds. Kaminsky as a senior probably could have "dominated" freshman Anthony Davis but you wouldn't pick Kaminsky over Davis, would you?
  2. It will mean Shula is waiting tables at his dad's restaurant in 2015
  3. I'd still take Cam first. Draft philosophy should be BPA, but weighed in terms of impact of positions. And although DE is one of the most important positions, its still very undervalued relative to QBs. I think both Cam and JJ both add 4-5 or so wins to their teams based on their impact alone. Also, I don't see Watt playing at a higher level than he's played at the past 2 seasons, but I think Cam can still elevate his play.
  4. Lived in SC until I was 6 or 7 and don't think I had even heard of the Panthers then lol. Moved here in 1998ish but really follow football, because until I was like 10 I couldn't understand what the objective was (the concept of down and distance and multiple ways to score totally confused me) so I pretty much stuck to pulling for the Hornets until 03.
  5. To be fair, Andy Reid also screwed the Eagles on a regular basis from 1999-2012, so this isn't exactly new territory for him
  6. How thirsty? About two Aquifina bottles worth: But really, I hope we don't get a DE in the first 3 rounds. If we do though, I'll have to give Gettleman the benefit of the doubt. Edit: I don't think Ealy jumps to double digit sacks this year either, that would be a pretty impressive leap for a second year guy
  7. Not that I don't think Tillman can't contribute, but Gettleman did sign like 2-3 guys who were borderline washed up last offseason... just saying.
  8. I trolled friends IRL last year on April fools saying we traded a 3rd for Josh Gordon. Back when that seemed "good"
  9. Yes Because, for example, Stewart/Fozzy rushing with Flowers blocking at RT > Stewart/Gurley rushing with Remmers/Oher at RT. Gurley might be "absolute" BPA when we pick, but I'm sure there's someone with similar value at another spot we need more help at.
  10. I hope he appreciates the free $13M we gave him
  11. We should draft him in the 1st to continue the Panthers tradition of meaninglessly having 2 RBs who were drafted high and/or could potentially both be starters on the roster at once. Davis/Foster--->Foster/Williams--->Williams/Stewart--->Stewart/Gurley. .
  12. Here's what I'm wondering (assuming he doesn't retire)... If Long is a low risk-high reward LT in an absolutely crap LT market this off season...wouldn't every GM in need of a LT come to the same conclusion and be obligated to bid up the market for him in order to get him to sign? Then all the sudden he's not really a low risk signing anymore. Sort of analogous to how mediocre QBs like Dalton or Kaepernick sign mega deals in today's NFL. All this is a long way of saying that I know Gettleman isn't the type to throw money at a risky FA, but if we don't get end up signing Long, it'll be because some other GM is.
  13. Literally just laughed out loud at the huddle editing the *** out of titans. Didn't know that was on the censored words list
  14. I don't know enough about his play (other than what other people have written) to know if he's starting material or not. Sounds like he's more of a RT than LT so maybe he's competition for Remmers. Either way I'm excited that he's not Bell, don't care what PFF said, no one can be worse than Bell.
  15. To be fair though, I was on the 2nd or 3rd for Gordon bandwagon after 2013. Blackmon, not so much. Thank god we didn't make that trade
  16. Cue up the ESPN E:60 on Hardy turning his life around and becoming a model citizen now that he's away from Cam's influence
  17. Also kinda weird story developing about Suh and Hardy possibly going to the Colts. Here's a fansided article that says the Colts are "emerging" as front runners for both the players. http://fansided.com/2015/03/05/colts-emerging-front-runner-ndamukong-suh-greg-hardy/ As a source, the article cites this tweet: @https://twitter.com/1070Bruno/status/573535343179399170 (yeah I have no idea how to embed tweets) The tweet then links to a B/R video. I didn't watch the video, but it says "Insider buzz...Massive Cap Space Could Lure Suh and Hardy to Colts" Weird how in the NFL media echo chamber now, discussing something as a possibility on a B/R article now constitutes "sources"?? Also, imagine how much of a meltdown the huddle would have if Hardy went to the Colts...lol
  18. Wow, I log into the huddle and there's not a "should we give up a second for brandon marshall??" thread on the first page. I'm shocked.
