  1. that's a brutal play to allow
  2. Hurts had plenty of time to throw it away and stay in FG range -- plays like that are why I don't believe he's a guy who can lead his team to a SB win
  3. love it. benefits eagles though
  4. hell of a catch. let's go rams
  5. Hopefully Bryce can surpass that level, but if not we can’t get stuck down a path with him which I fear may happen
  6. It's fair to wonder if Goff did get a concussion on that play and they cut corners on the protocol to keep him in the game. Doubt it'll ever get looked into though.
  7. Another pretty cool aspect of this Commanders team is how well Bobby Wagner is playing. Prime Luke was obviously better than him but I always liked the dude and it's damn impressive to see him making a 2nd team all pro at his age and with a new team.
  8. I have a feeling we see a blowout in the SB this year with the AFC team winning. Love what the Commanders are doing and the Rams are a real sleeper and Eagles obviously had a great season. But it just seems whoever advances out of KC/BAL/BUF is a tier above these NFC teams. Not sure we'll get an entertaining SB
  9. Insanely poised in the playoffs for a rookie. Big time throws like they're nothing. He very well could be the first rookie QB to make a SB.
  10. LA but yeah, I think the Rams win tomorrow -- especially now they have a bit of extra motivation to get a home playoff game after the fires moved the one they should've had last week to AZ. I've got Ravens winning then the Chiefs barely scraping by them like last year, and then Rams beating the Commanders as McVay coaches an incredible game and their playoff experience pushes them past Washington. Would be crazy to get the Chiefs-Rams Super Bowl now lol. Back in like 2018 when they had that absurd back and forth regular season game that ended like 51-50 it seemed pre-destined that they'd meet in a Super Bowl battle of elite offenses. And it could finally happen in a year where neither offense is even close to elite they are just solid all around teams.
  11. now it's official. no chance of a Lions comeback at this point
  12. honestly think Aaron Glenn's is more -- Lions have put up 28 points despite Goff Goffing. That trick play was terrible but even those don't usually end in picks as WRs would rather take the "sack" or big yard loss than force a throw. meanwhile the Commanders have moved the ball at will on pretty much every possession this game. I get the injuries excuse but it's still not a great look
  13. and immediately Ekeler runs for like 40 years. Yeah this one is over. I actually have had a soft spot for Detroit sports for a while so I feel bad for them, but in some ways I'm not surprised at all by this. Campbell is overhyped and Goff just doesn't cut it for a contending team like them -- hence why the Rams moved on
  14. Dude Dan Campbell is a total clown. That is probably game
  15. That's an inexcusable mistake on Detroit coaching staff. Oof
  16. Agree on Goff but I highly doubt they move on from him. Bet Williams is the odd man out there in a few years, would love to get him
  17. I don't remember Quinn being this aggressive when he was in Atlanta... Maybe he was and I just forgot. But kinda reminds me of Rivera's shift to Riverboat Ron back in 2013.
  18. dude I didn't even realize Ekeler was still in the league let alone on Washington. Dude still has some juice
  19. Idk what the contract statuses are of all their guys but that offense is so stacked and they won't be able to keep them all. Hopefully we can poach a guy or 2 from them
  20. You guys are making my point. Reffing is inconsistent across the board and averages out to roughly even, maybe not in any one game sometimes, but over time and larger sample sizes it does.
  21. The Lions are the NFL sweetheart right now so of course there will be no stories or discussion about the non-facemask facemask call there that handed the Lions 7 points directly!
  22. yeah they obviously weren't going to put Teddy in unless Goff was hurt
  23. My beef isn't really with you then, I will gladly point out all the shitty parts of the NFL -- reffing is inconsistent, they don't let teams play defense and call absurd roughing penalties like the 2 on Mahomes today, etc. My beef is with the extremely popular over the top belief that the league is rigging it for the Chiefs and the refs favor them or are the reason for their success. To quote pulp fiction, that sh*t ain't the truth
  24. Absolutely pathetic mindset, lol. Look in the mirror -- first play of the game your dumbass player takes a dumb penalty then shoves the ST coach, you allow 8 sacks all game and plenty more near sacks, miss a FG, extra point and have a kick blocked, rush going for it on a 4th and 10 with the playclock running down instead of taking the 3 points or at least calling a TO to gather and not force the last second snap for the Chiefs to time their pass rush. Not to mention letting a washed up Kelce get wide open down field and then get like 30yac as he ran through quicksand.
  25. I watch all the games and the stats backup my viewpoint. The Chiefs don't get any more favorable calls than plenty of other teams. They win a ton and people are sick of it so the ones that do favor them are in the spotlight while the ones that favor losing teams nobody ever cares about.
