Dude is incredibly talented, he’s lost a bit of a step due to age but he has never had “very limited ability.” and I looked it up, he had 7 drops last year, 5% drop rate. Not terrible by any means but not the most sure handed guy for us anyways. In MN he was better with 3 drops total in 21 and 22. It might just be us lol.. and as I type a drop from Mingo

Ehh Thielen has had his share of drops I think. He’s mostly pretty reliable but we don’t have any automatic catch guys edit: also I just thought of this but remember we had Jason avant? Dude went like 7 straight years without a drop for Philly, comes here and immediately has like 3-4 drops if I remember right. We are cursed to have poor hands on this team lol

Yeah as expected when you look at the roster lol. I have no issues with Clowney I think people just had too high of expectations for him due to name recognition. He’s not an elite pass rusher, not even much better than average. Overall an above average DE as he is a plus run defender but he’s not a sacks guy and hasn’t been since college. Way better than anyone else we have obviously but that says more about our roster than Clowney
