  1. I honestly didn't understand people's dislike of Bersin as a player. He never was a star or anything. He wasn't going to knock people's socks off but he did make the catches when we needed him to. Thinking about all the dropped passes we had this season makes me kind of miss having somebody with sure fire hands lol (I would say CMC but he has to stay healthy for that).
  2. So you are basically saying we shouldn't make ourselves better this season for fears of not making ourselves another year? I mean, even if we do get our line together and people come back healthy and better than ever and we end with a 9-8 record, it doesn't take us out of the QB hunt. In fact it might possibly even put us in better position. If we wanted to draft one, we would then have more space to trade up for one knowing that we don't have as much problems to fix and could afford to lose picks to make it happen. If we chose to hunt in FA then us looking like we are on the upturn and got our Line figured out for the first time in god knows how long would make us more attractive to the better FA QB's as well.
  3. It's actually pretty funny that players on the practice squad get a ring even if they didn't really even play a game for the team lol
  4. I agree with this as well. Refs really shouldn't be painting it as a "It didn't happen" narrative since replay clearly shows he did grab and turn his head. They should have said that at the angle they were in they didn't see it and that it just looked like the defender turned his head to look instead of being pulled.
  5. Yeah, I can agree with that one. The WR timed that just perfectly to get away with it. With the position the refs were in behind them and the way he pulled it probably just looked to them like the defender turned his head to look instead of being pulled. Very crafty and well done job by the WR on that one.
  6. What I think a lot of those people complaining are forgetting is that even if Zach Thomas was "better", Mills also has his line of work as coaching as a reason why he should be in. I mean, how many other former players could actively say the whole background and philosophy of a franchise was built around them. The history of "Keep Pounding" alone should be reason enough for him to make it.
  7. Yeah, and to be honest even if he was speaking about the Saints they don't really get that much preference when it comes to HoF either.
  8. I called it early in the game that Apple was going to be the death of the Bengals in that game and sure enough it was true. Rams absolutely abused his ass on their final scoring drive with Kupp. Apple is definitely not the guy you want coving one of the best in the league currently. The guy every now and then will strike gold and play clutch like he did against Tyreek Hill but more often that not he straight up gets burned.
  9. Honestly I got no problem with them posting it since they are right, Super Bowl is over, on to the 2022 season. They can't post nothing and they sure can't post anything negative, they wouldn't have a job afterwards, so might as well do something kind of fun with one of the actual good players we have around.
  10. 4th and 1.... JUST RUN THE BALL! I really don't know what the Bengals coach was thinking on that play. Your QB has been getting killed all game while the run game has worked for the most part. Reminds me of the Seahawks deciding to throw on the 1 yard line instead of running it.
  11. OLine in general for me. A new Guard or Center are a huge improvement given how shitty the interior line was this season.
  12. In all honesty I'd probably have him in twice if a team designation had to be made. First as a mostly Saints player and then a second time for pretty much being the whole foundation for the Panthers as a coach.
  13. One of the rare things that a Panther Fan and Saint fan can agree on. Dude was amazing. I honestly think he really classifies as a double inductee for just how good he was when playing for you guys and for us and of course the legacy he established here as a coach.
  14. If we do draft him then I'd hope we'd do our damnedest to get somebody in FA so we don't have to seeing him on our line. Ugh, I shudder at the thought of it.
  15. For me it doesn't have to be a Tackle just as long as it is somebody to get rid of some of the trash on our Line.
  16. Nice pick to finish off the game
  17. Ew, probably change that to fish around for a better Center during FA
  18. Agreed. I could have maybe got used to it if it was something like "The Washington Commando's" but Commanders is just.....bad. I just picture a commander being a person shouting orders and not really doing anything as opposed to the Commando actually taking action and fighting. Neither would be my first pick but even just that simple difference is big.
  19. Yep, cap space was one of the problems we were having at the time we brought Gettleman in. The first coming of Hurney had left us in absolute cap hell. We couldn't really do much in FA until that was cleared up. Now as to why he paid Matt Kalil so much *shrugs* beats the hell out of me.
  20. No, it's called looking back at the person's past work, especially at the position we are hiring them at, and making an opinion based on that. I'm not going to poo on every person we interview or bring in just because Rhule is still here.
  21. I honestly don't get this concept. We brought him in as an OC which is where he did his best work in the past. If we made him HC then sure his track record isn't all that great but on the books as an OC he took a Giants offense from ranking nearly last in points to ranking like 12 or 13th and then ranking 6th over 2 seasons. Plus he has NFL coaching experience, which let's be honest, we desperately needed and should already of had.
  22. Damn, was hoping the Bills would win. Oh well.
  23. RIght. My prediction was that if they went one and done in the playoffs he would be gone so it'll be interesting seeing what happens
  24. Damn right a backup plan. You should ALWAYS have a plan in case something happens to the kicker. It just felt oh so wonderful hearing the announcers joke and laugh about us as they showed us holding on the field tryouts and then settled for a WR to kick the ball. Like I said, they BOTH get blame for that poo since it is the coaches job to think of and be prepared for these types of situations.
  25. I mean, Rhule is responsible for it as well but we are talking about the same Special Teams coach that didn't have any form of backup plan in case the kicker got hurt. Even worse, it was revealed that our Punter literally had no experience placekicking which means unlike many other teams they didn't even take a tiny bit of time to practice just in case poo happened. I can see the firing for sure.
