  1. Trading the one WR with any chemistry with Bryce (AT) and our best OL (Moton), combined with adding void years and kicking the can down the road for a bottom 5 roster, might be the worst take I’ve read on this forum. Pretty miraculous
  2. lol I’m convinced Bryce whooped you in high school football or something cause you have legitimate hatred for the dude
  3. Maybe deep yeah, but it’s the lack of intermediate throws that drove me mad with Teddy, and us this year the first 3 games. At least we’ve seen more 15-20 yard passes the last few.
  4. Still not sure wtf happened with the play-calling. We were actually running off-tackle and doing some play action effectively. It’s pretty obvious we can’t just shotgun air raid so I’m not sure why we keep trying. Bryce made some great throws though and missed some as well. But no big mistakes. I agree I’d like to see more deep shots. On that tight throw to Hurst it looks like TMJ was gonna be open on that deep post. But I imagine it’s tough trusting your line at this point. I think getting Corbett back in there will be huge.
  5. My patience with Fitt was wearing thin going into this year....but my god declining the Burns trade to the Rams, the DJ Johnson trade, and the Sanders signing are some of the worst decisions I've seen. It's weird because on paper, the signings this offseason "seemed" good. Hurst, Von Bell, Justin Houston, Thielen, Chark...they were all pretty widely agreed on to be good signings. But they haven't worked out. Not sure if it's just Fitt not realizing what schemes the coaches are implementing because everyone but Thielen seems like they are playing out of position. With Hurney and Gettleman it always seemed like we made horrible offseason signings who would occasionally outplay themselves. But with Fitt, they always underperform
  6. Nah I’m told Pickles made these throws all the time… Seriously, that’s an A+ throw. “What does Bryce do well?” Seems like accuracy and anticipation? He threw that between 3 guys before AT was even close to being open.
  7. The amount of blood thirsty Young haters on this forum is hilarious. No he's not playing well enough to compensate for the rest of this team sucking ass, but it seems pretty obvious what the problem is. We know we can't run the ball because we just run up the middle every play. We know the interior line is getting absolutely blown up and allowing edge rushers free rein on Bryce. We know Frank is drawing up quick screens to try and get the ball out fast. And he calls plays built for one player and isn't even aware he's not on the field. Like, how TF is this on Bryce? I've seen him make some pretty damn accurate throws and has scrambled to make plays. He's a rookie, my god.
  8. Fractured fibula is probably best case scenario for him. Realistically could come back this year. Edit: didn’t see the previous update in time about being out for the season. Must have been a bad break? Maybe low by the foot?
  9. Good god that route by Laviska didn’t even look real. Still shocked the coaches didn’t try using him more as a traditional WR last year.
  10. Horn broke his forearm in a freak collision that would break anybody's forearm. Has absolutely nothing with being injury prone.
  11. Lol no way Bozeman is worth top 5 center money after half a season of playing. I like him but just because he isn’t a bottom tier center doesn’t mean we should break the bank for one. I think 7-8 million per year would be reasonable
  12. Alright Eddie looks fine. Don’t know why TF they went for it on 4th and goal from the 4 lol
  13. I was wondering what I was seeing as well. I locked in on Burns one of those plays and it looked like he was spying Jones.
  14. Lol we were all in on Rhule at the beginning. I was even willing to give him time last season. But this loss was 100% coaching. You can’t average 6 yards per carry and lose with CMC as your back
  15. I mean, this is probably just some goodwill for PJ from a guy who obviously likes him/coached him in the past. Let him showcase his skills so he can get quickly signed if we cut him for Corral. Now I’d 100% rather see Corral get more meaningful snaps, but hopefully he will get a lot of time in the second half
  16. Yeah, Shi was really USC's only weapon, had atrocious QB play, and still balled out. He's got a lot of potential.
  17. This 100%. Most long term TBI is caused by these much more frequent small impacts, rather than the big ones. Hence why linemen and linebackers have the highest rates of TBI since they hit someone on almost every play.
  18. Lol wow the Baker vs Corral arguments have already started and we haven’t even gotten to camp
  19. I agree. If one of the top tackles is available, that'll be a tough pill to swallow
  20. Gotta say, from the clips I saw, the dude was throwing dimes.
  21. I’m not sure. I see where you are coming from, but it would take multiple first round picks to trade for a franchise altering QB. I think a solid starter would be well worth a top 10 pick tbh
  22. I've gotta jump in on this mess. 1. I don't want to draft Pickett at 6, but I'd gladly take him in the teens if we trade back. 2. I believe Pickett will have a Mac Jones type rookie year where he plays the best of all the rookie QBs 3. The hand size thing is hilarious to me. Who cares if he has small hands if he showed he can read a defense, make good decisions, and make accurate passes? I feel like the last few seasons should have hammered in that concept to our fanbase by now 4. The NFL ball and college ball are the same circumference. So it's hilarious that people are making the point that he's going to struggle throwing an NFL ball. - Pros: 11 to 11.25" length, 28" circumference - College: 10.5 to 11.5" length, 28" circumference 5. He's shown the ability to learn and improve while in college, so the fumbles can be avoided with proper two-hands on the ball technique while in the pocket. That is all.
