If Cam wins the Pats QB spot this year and goes on to have a few more years of starting success then yes. If he loses the job to Mac Jones and that is the end of his career then I don't think he does get in. That sucks but I think it is the reality of it.

Of course the best case is he balls out. I think the worst case scenario is that he lights it up for a year signs a huge contract and then shitzthebed for years. The most likely scenario is that at the end of the season the team has 7ish wins and it's not apparent if he is or isn't the future. The fun part will be seeing all the arguments about whether or not he is. There will be a contingent on here that even if he tosses 3 INTs/game will find an excuse. Just like there will be a group that despite winning the division and Fields under performing will still grouse about passing him in the draft. The future is bright if for nothing else all the bickering about a game none of us have any control over.
