  1. You hit some basement keyboard warriors right in their dinner table guts with that one.
  2. My optimistic trade back plan... Panthers get: Stephon Gilmore / #46 / 2022 2nd rounder Patriots get: #8 (QB) then.... Panthers get: #41 / #72 Lions get: Stephon Gilmore / #113 / #222 Panthers would be trading #8, a 4th, and a 6th for #15, two 2nds, a 3rd, and a 2022 2nd. Now someone tell me we can possibly manipulate the Lions and Patriots like that instead of them making the deal themselves. Ha
  3. Well I hope the Panthers wouldn’t pass on someone in the third round who would be the best we have at the position.
  4. He’s 1-2 inches shorter than the average TE, but the guy moves better than average for 250lbs.
  5. No doubt it looks like UNC & Miami for the Coastal for the next 5 years. I’m curious, why is Brevin Jordan a projected 3rd rounder? When I’ve watched him, he’s looked like a game breaker.
  6. Brevin Jordan at 90 is such a bargain.
  7. I think you picked the wrong Boston College LB. I’d rather have McDuffie.
  8. I keep going back to the hope that Rhule’s time at the Senior Bowl will be advantageous in day 2 & 3 of this draft. Trading back may be the best way to capitalize on the extra time we were able to spend with the prospects in Mobile.
  9. Did you post a YouTube video about us signing Daquan Jones recently?
  10. Hbar is where it’s at. OP might have convinced me to drop another 1k on it.
  11. If a QB you have a first round grade on falls to the 2nd round, yep. I’d be absolutely fine with letting them battle it out for QB1 then flipping the other for picks/players. You can frame the competition to the media in a way that doesn’t harm either QB’s rep. “Hard fought battle through training camp narrowly won by such and such” even if that’s not truly the case.
  12. If either wins and goes on to be a franchise QB, then we look like geniuses. No one will care about the picks missed out on for the loser (which could likely be recouped by trading the loser).
  13. Jabril Cox allows for more flexibility on D and puts us in a favorable position when negotiating with Reddick and facing cap savings by moving on from Shaq Thompson. Addressed weak spots at OL, CB, and TE. Upgrade (imo) at backup QB.
  14. Don’t sign anyone else and use that money to front load DJ Moore and Moton’s contracts. Move on to 2022 and secure a QB through free agency or draft.
  15. Speaking of bold not working out well.... Signing Bridgewater to his deal after he just found success with a rival was bold. Imagine if he had come in and proven he was our QB for the next 6+ years.
  16. I can’t believe Trubisky signed for less than 3 mil this year and it wasn’t with the Panthers.
  17. Idk, I’d offer them Bridgewater, a 5th, and Aquameni for him right now.
  18. We’ll see how many of the ‘Tepper sucks’ crowd is still howling in 2022 when we have lots of money to throw around, a new QB, and our young talent on D is ready to make a run. Anyone already throwing shade at Tepper who inherited a QB and cap that were not in ideal form is either ignorant about building a franchise or impatient. I’m thinking/hoping it’s mostly the latter.
  19. If you’re referring to the Charles Johnson tweet, I edited that out of my post after realizing it was from 2020. Still, knowing that Gurley wanted to be a Panther is a good sign he may sign a team-friendly deal. Especially coming off injury.
  20. Not sure. I’m assuming he clears medical. If so, I’d love it as long as it’s a super cheap deal to bring Gurley back close to home.
  21. Where it would fall on the ‘love it or hate it’ scale depends solely on price.
