8 of our 10 remaining games are winnable.
outlaw4 replied to thunderraiden's topic in Carolina Panthers
Even though Rhule is gone, I very much feel the 17+ points and we lose stat still applies. I want to say Denver is the most winnable but that's assuming Hackett makes it that far. -
PJ got the highest PFF grade for a qb so far this year
outlaw4 replied to uncfan888's topic in Carolina Panthers
From what I saw, Bucs played mostly zone and PJ fit some throws into just the right spots. One-off moments or whatnot, who knows? Have to give the man credit for great execution. It is still worth pointing out, however, that our offense remains quite stagnant. That first TD didn't come until the end of the second half and the second well into the third quarter. Also haven't forgotten that Wilks went for a punt rather than kicking a field goal. Feels like we're right back to the John Fox days back when we had Rodney Peete. Wasn't following the team back then so might not be right on point with that comparison. -
Oh my god! They picked Kenny! You dummy!

I love how just every single damn time anyone talks about our game, they only bother to show the dropped deep pass as though that's the only thing that happened.

Geno did okay but the Seahawks also ran right over the Chargers.

A 1 week break from the tank train to beat down b*tch Brady PIE
outlaw4 replied to t96's topic in Carolina Panthers
It's a hated division rival. It's the NFL's golden child Tom Brady. And we did it with an awful awful team that probably won't win another game this year. The utter humiliation we gave them is something I'm going to enjoy. -
I don't regret drafting him. One of the picks I loved from the start. Obviously would prefer if the 49ers don't end up much better record-wise because of the draft picks but would also be a shame if injuries continue to be a problem and we never get to see him at his very best.

The only people that would want to watch Chuba are those that have the opposing team's defense on their fantasy team.

Trade makes way too much sense from CMC's perspective. Why would he not push for it? Only positive for Wilks is with his lawsuit. Thinking really long term, if Tepper cans Wilks as I expect, maybe Tepper eventually gets tangled in all this mess and the ultimate result is him being forced to sell the team. ...look, I'm trying to find the light at the end of the tunnel and this is all I got.

I think this trade all but guarantees Wilks has no chance of being the head coach next year. We just traded away literally the only offense we have and that's not even considering DJ being traded as well. Whatever you think of the guy, he's royally screwed.

This is the deal that will get Fitterer fired if it doesn't work out in the end.

Well, at least we got a ton of scoring this Thursday. Still kind of a stinker of a game, though.
-
I know we are worse than the Saints but imma laugh at them anyways.

Now that one is on Darnold... er, Dalton.
-
That's two! TWO touchdowns on Thursday Night!
-
Is that... a touchdown?

Part of me would want to hear what Mora would've said about our offense. Then again, I believe Mora late in his life regretted all those moments he was known for.

Now that Robbie is gone, who is (or who should be) our #2 receiver?
outlaw4 replied to SCO96's topic in Carolina Panthers
Nah, gotta give Keary Colbert another year to drop more passes and smile while doing it. -
Now that Robbie is gone, who is (or who should be) our #2 receiver?
outlaw4 replied to SCO96's topic in Carolina Panthers
Not sure it even matters in the McAdoo offense where it treats Ian Thomas like a legitimate receiving threat. I honestly don't even want to look at the receiving stats for our team right now. -
I've always called those two Double Trouble. If only Delhomme hadn't had the Tommy John...
-
If talking purely from a skills perspective, CMC hasn't shown the ability to make insane acrobatic catches with three defenders around him like 89. Also not seeing CMC being a deep threat. That said, you can flip the argument and say 89 isn't filling CMC's shoes as a runner and may not quite have the shiftiness when there's bodies all around and relies more on pure grit. Hypothetically, 89 and CMC would've complimented each other on the same field. Almost would've been unfair.

Panthers designated Sam Darnold to return from IR.
outlaw4 replied to WaterBoy's topic in Carolina Panthers
If a healthy Sam ends up looking Nathan Peterman bad, I'm honestly going to blame it more on McAdoo than anyone else. You can't go through multiple QBs and have all of them look the worst they've been in their entire careers.
