so the current Carolina Panthers are a team that is in a similar situation that the 2022 Carolina Panthers were in about this same time exactly 3 years ago. & after the 2022 season & missing the playoffs because of a last game of the season loss to the Tom Brady led Bucs Carolina Panthers brass then thought hey you know what we are just a Qb away from taking that next step & becoming a playoff contender in 2023 .so of course that's what the Panthers proceeded to do when they traded up to the #1 overall pick in order todraft Bryce Young .& here is history repeating itself as it often does & the Carolina Panthers are once again in a close race at the end of the season with Tampa Bay for the NFCS title in 2025 it's took what 3 years now to get back to where we started to begin with prior to drafting Bryce Young &so tell me once again who is really holding this team back ? ...just saying hRi

Bryce Young if they were stupid enough to trade up to #1 overall & give a kings ransom to draft Bryce Young. then no it will not surprise me in the least whatsoever that they are stupid enough to pick up his fifth year option it's really hard to fix stupid it's alot like history it just keeps repeating itself

Bryce Young is going to be a bust that I would not touch with a ten foot pole after this 3rd season is over Shedeur Sanders on the other hand is going to turn out to be a really good franchise Qb watch Carolina & Cleveland both figure out a way to screw this up in the end.Carolina will extend Bryce Young which of course will be a HUGE mistake & Cleveland will draft a first round Qb in the upcoming draft which will also be a HUGE mistake ..just saying myCb

I have always liked Evero. you give this guy some actual talent on defense & this would be one of the best defenses in the NFL

QB is our biggest need & if you don't believe me then look at Bryce Young's #'s & compare them to other NFL starting Qbs #'s & same thing with backup Qb Andy Daltons # 's until we quit ignoring the elephant in the room & actually fix this Qb problem.then this team will never be in a position to win on a consistent basis. ...just saying mCb

so how can you win on a consistent basis with a wildly inconsistent Qb ? & more importantly does Bryce Young make this team better ? or is he in fact holding the team back ? for me i just dont see how having Bryce Young at Qb makes this team better...just saying

keep the ball out of Matthew Staffords hands as much as possible & play to your strengths which is the run game ...just ssaying that might not be a bad idea ?

so I would really like to see what Canales can do with a Qb not named Bryce Young

no GM or NFL head coach really wants anything to do with Bryce Young these people have a job that is pretty much solely based off of performance & no one in their right mind is interested in taking that type of risk when there are many more logical & smarter options than having Bryce Young as a Qb

this teams recent success has had harldy nothing whatsoever to do with Bryce Young dazzling everyone with other worldly performances that's been the running game if anything Bryce Young is holding this team back ...just saying

I think i get.your intial point ? & edited the prior post that the Panthers are not as good with Bryce Youngs game managing skills & conservative play calling..it has nothing really to do with his on the field production / #'s & yes I disagree that I do not think it makes the Panthers a better team. if anything it is holding this offense & play calling back from being much better than what it really is with Bryce Young at Qb ...just saying

LOL the reason the Panthers are winning right now is not because of the Qb it's called RB & some of u guys have become so accustomed to mediocre QB play that it is almost comical.here u have a Qb that averages less than 185 passing yards per game & that somehow makes the Panthers a better team or maybe u are saying that without his on the field game managing skills & conservative playy calling the Panthers are not as good ?Who knows either or it makes no sense

when you are talking about the Panthers current Qbs & other teams backups it's like OK I don't really like any of these options at Qb but let me go ahead & pick the lesser of two evils . & Bryce Young has been a turnover machine throughout his NFL career & so has Wintson this situation at Qb should have been addressed way before now prior to the season .& any of these Qbs will be just as good if not better than Bryce Young is no big loss ...just saying
