The team peaked too early last year, we wrecked everyone and all their villages in October, then trended towards being an average playoff time over the last month or so of the regular season. Hopefully the role’s are reversed this year.

Also, why are we going backwards… Vancouver is right across from Seattle yet they sent our asses to Calgary and Edmonton first and then all the way back to Vancouver… lmao.

I wouldn’t pay any attention to that mess… If my aunt had balls she’d be uncle, but she doesn’t, so she’s not… we don’t deal with if’s, but’s, or maybe’s… just facts. The fact is we won.

I think it’s more of Bear thing, I think he wants to play or be traded.

So I really like Penix, I haven’t watched him a bunch from what I’ve seen he’s been impressive.

I think the scheme is a massive issue. You might be able to tell me since you get the All 22 but our routes seem basic. And as @Davidson Deac II mentioned, I also think you have to have a QB that’s willing to just spin it sometimes. Maybe Baker was worried about losing the starting gig if he started throwing a bunch of picks, I have no idea… but he looked unwilling to drive the ball down the field.

Also, for those interested, we spend 21.7% of our coverage snaps in man.

I feel like I can say with confidence that Baker would not have attempted that pass, sometimes you got to throw a guy open and Baker never showed the willingness to do that.

I’d argue that this is more of an indicator of a shitty scheme and receivers not cutting or carrying their routes properly into and out of zones. I’d also add that sometimes we place too much value on the numbers, sometimes it comes down to winning the battles up front. Both our defensive line and offensive line were better than the Bucs.

I don’t know what he’s said or done but the defensive intensity and the overall willingness to play defense is night and day.

No team runs exclusively man… they’d get annihilated if they did. In reality, teams are in man coverage 30% of the time this year which means the remaining 70% of the time they are in zone. Wilks just had a good game plan and they executed. I’d also argue that Walker looks more comfortable in the pocket than any QB that is on the roster, so having someone that is willing to stand back there and scan the field is a big plus as well. The Panthers opened it up a bit today and Walker delivered, mind you he’s never had issues moving the ball between the 20’s… it’s always been about his turnovers and red zone production.

As a Carolina fan I will not like that but I have nothing but good things to say about DSJ’s play lol.

Eventually you have to start Richards, he’s just a better overall rebounder and defender than Plumlee.

Richards had 20 points, 8 rebounds, 2 blocks, 1 assist, and he hasn’t missed a shot.
