  1. You were doing so well up to that point…
  2. Dog vomit was the phrase I was thinking of but, booth cheeks works, too.
  3. Suggests Morgan thinks the problem was more roster than Evero or his staff?
  4. I'm not comfortable trading back farther than 12-16. We should still have our pick of really good DL and Edge.
  5. (1) DT/NT, (2) Edge, but two of the three should be starter capable their rookie year, one for development
  6. If he’s available late day 2 (probably not), I’d do it…
  7. Cam could have learned an invaluable life lesson from Thumper’s father… Thumper’s Mother: “Thumper, what did your Father teach you?” Thumper: “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say nothin’ at all.”
  8. No, thank you. This is not the right time in the rebuild cycle. We need two really productive drafts and then we can go looking for ‘the missing piece’.
  9. No disagreement with you on the evils of reaching. Just seems fortuitous that our most glaring need aligns with the strength of this draft. I would think that would improve the probability of getting potential starters in the first three rounds. But, yeah, Gettleman screwed the pooch with the Norman fiasco.
  10. Meh. If the scouting department and Morgan are pounding the table, that T-Mac is truly BPA at 8 then go with it, I guess. I’d rather see us go front seven with the first three picks, and that would be drafting into the strength of this draft. Crazy concept, right?
  11. “It’s gotta be the hair, Cotton; it’s beautiful, feathered and lethal. You just don’t see it nowadays.”
  12. Good for Wilks if that happens. Happy for him.
  13. I had a crush on Hooker. Rather than ‘go get your guy’, I was content to take Hooker in the late first or early second. Interesting that Johnson wants to bring him to LVR. He must see something in Hooker. Time will tell if he is starter material or just a placeholder who knows the offense until someone better can be brought in.
  14. With Prime, you get the whole clown car…
  15. Stay ahead of the Kurb? Do we have a Kurb sighting?
  16. Pogo: “We have met the enemy… and he is us!”
  17. Managed futures can be a helpful addition to your portfolio's asset allocation. They are volatile, though.
  18. If AT wants to be here, I’m sure the FO can tweak his contract to meet his number
  19. ... but his hair is perfect
  20. He’s had a very good year personally; could have another very good year in 2025. I will guess that he is a very positive presence in the WR room and perhaps also with Bryce. At this stage in his career, it depends on what he values more: making a personal impact with young players on a bad team trending upward or a ring or money. What you value at the end of your professional career is not necessarily the same as what you value early in your career. Early career is typically maximizing income. End of career is sometimes about your personal investment in people, paying it forward and how you are remembered, i.e. your legacy. Just the ruminations of someone who retired in 2024.
