  1. I only briefly mentioned Luke because I didn't want to be to assumption based but that's my inclination as well. He didn't get a good impression from these guys and bailed. He's too smart IMO. He's taking time away from the sport but I can see him returning in a coaching capacity at some point, hell, maybe Vrabel style. It may sound like a stretch but I'd be down for him to become a DC. The way he could dissect pre-snap, his film junkiness to him..he loves the sport. Imagine having that still as an asset, aiding our hopefully new young promising LB we'll pick up in this next year. I honestly think he has an extremely bright future for whatever he does, and NFL coaching could be one of those things.
  2. 100% Agree. When you've got a guy that built a career out of it and knows to take accountability for his mistakes, benching him for a lesser player is just a poor move all around. You're not proving anything or teaching a lesson. Keep the best man for the job in there. I will say, the changeup of Jeremy Chinn's role is also very high on my list of gripes. There's just too many at this point.
  3. I hope Tepper knows the most loyal of fans are bought out. Stadium atmosphere is lame as hell (comparing to previous times), no one cares, and the biggest, absolutely clear as day issue: They aren’t trying to get better. They think if it’s mistake free, we’re winning. They’re not even trying to improve, they’re refusing to acknowledge something is wrong and making excuses. We went into this season with nothing at OL and QB. They are lost without a paddle.
  4. Teddy may have been right all along. Still not the guy to lead us but it seems he was right.
  5. I mean he was. I’m not buying this two minute reason when Walker runs out, playcalling is slow and he immediately throws a pick
  6. He is legit. I’m not even a tarheel fan but he’s just damn fun to watch
  7. Yup. We may not have been playoff bound but could have rolled with Cam and Kyle Allen (or Heineke) until we found our next guy. And saved half of next years draft picks. The QB moves were a blunder at every turn. They’re continuously making the wrong move and then make a new panicky one to help make up for it.
  8. Cam Newton. Today. Benched him for PJ. PJ struts in and throws a pick. Comes out of the half, puts Cam back out there only to bench again with fans booing the move. (Correct if I'm wrong here)
  9. Let's be real, when Tepper hired him, he gave him the keys. Hurney being GM didn't matter. Fit was brought in to help corral things. Rhule was also handed a good foundation for a team with Brian Burns, a healthy CMC, DJ Moore, Shaq, Luke (Retired/but wanted in on the staff). Basically, he had some nice pieces to walk into. Since, it has been blunder after blunder of someone learning on the job: Hires a OC w/ basically zero coordinator experience and was even more green than Rhule Hires a bunch of yes men he's worked with in college. Strangely leaned more heavily to his Temple days than Baylor. Unceremoniously releases Cam after praising him publicly. Can still argue this was a move we needed to make but handled poorly Drafts Derrick Brown. I wouldn't classify a bust but he does not look worthy of that pick when we had the best OT in forever at our disposal. Puke. He's playing no different than plenty of DTs taken from rounds 1-3 in the past few years. Notable QBs we've passed on: Gardner Minshew, Jalen Hurts, Mac Jones, Justin Fields, the list goes on. I think we could've traded up for Herbert too if we wanted. Let a few perfectly fine backup QBs in Heinecke & Kyle Allen go that were cheap as hell so we could roll with his old QB from college in the XFL Overpaid for Teddy Bridgewater hoping he and the OC were destined for great things, and bailed faster than hell For some reason decided to reclaim Sam Darnold after failing to land Stafford and Watson. Has a weird pattern of just getting worse the more time goes by Not to mention this whole Christensen debacle after they claimed they drafted him BECAUSE THEY COULD SEE TACKLE POTENTIAL Today did a most bewildering thing in benching the starter twice in a single game. His in game decisions are now getting straight up boo'd by the fans *feel free to add, don't want to waste anymore breathe. I defended him. Even got into some lively debates here claiming he wasn't showing nepotism and just bringing in a few of his guys, a few players. I was wrong. He needs to go. They just keep making the most bewildering moves. It's like he's wanted to create this nice little bubble for him and his buddies (along with PJ) to just cash in. His car salesman-y pitches are falling flat, he exhibits zero nuance to game planning, horrible feel for the game. This college coach experiment has failed and he needs to go. David Tepper, please listen to your fans. Cut it loose before it makes things worse.
  10. It’s all very corporate-y, dated and bland. A poor attempt at looking with the times.
  11. With how keyed in they try to be with the social media thing, they see the fans have had it. I think Tepper could do it. Rhule has no more excuses. This is his handpicked roster, OL, QBs, coaches. He’s taken a team with a lot of good foundation pieces in place and done absolutely nothing. If anything, made us worse. Rivera at his worst was better than Rhule at his best. It’s crazy bad how out of their element they are and just straight up learning on the job.
  12. This. It’s clear the FAs were Rhule’s targets the way they discussed the signings.
  13. I’ve never seen a staff be so obviously out of their league. Please end this ride Tepper. Don’t wait. Burn the staff to the ground.
  14. This is a mess. Benching a starting QB twice in one game? Wtf
  15. I mean—How has he managed to make Chinn so ineffective after one of the best rookie campaigns we’ve ever seen on D for this franchise?
  16. I can’t get over how much he gets out coached and willingly shows his ineptitude mid game.
  17. Nice drive but holy moley, I am DONE with Rhule after today. I tried to be patient post-Brady but he is clueless. Amateur hour.
  18. At least we've got this midst the poo that has become this season. Quality DEs, Quality CBs, and umm, the rest lol.
  19. It was bad. Brady is bad. Rhule is bad. It's just a messy mess of a mess. It appears we have some decent foundational pieces but need to start from scratch at the least on offense. Time to find a new HC, QB, and a few things more.
  20. If Tepper wants to, it's happening. It's his money. I wouldn't say it's disposable but this is too embarrassing to continue with such a lucrative deal.
  21. Sax is the good salty type of spam. Not a bad prediction, we'll see lol
  22. Spackler and OnMyOwn proving to be the worst posters on this board. Only post negative sh!t, never in favor, never in flavor, always stupid inane bs.
