PJ has always had great mechanics, he just routinely made dumb plays under pressures and went for the most difficult throws, he says he has learned that not the way to go. Great chance in of hime, we will see if he can keep it up.
-
We gotta lose enough to get him, but we about to go on that 4 game win streak lol.

Welp.. Levis, Hooker or McKee come on down.

Definitely agree on not taking him Top 10, this is in reference to if we finish somewhere in the 12-20 range. Possibly through a trade back or something. -

No man, he plays is one of the most awful systems devoid of talent you could almost ever watch play, and some how still puts out okay numbers. Make no mistake Stanford is an awful program with no talent right now. That guy can make all the throws, great arm, good mobility. His adjuster accuracy rate is way above the numbers. You need to watch him play to understand. https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Tanner-McKee-QB-Stanford -

Tannér McKee if we miss out on the big three. -

The Jaguars are slowly making me rethink this tanking thing
Jaxel replied to panthersgreenville's topic in Carolina Panthers
To be fair, they put on a clinic on what not to do in the last 5 minutes of that game. Some of the most boneheaded coaching I've seen. -
That's his goal, tank but look competitive.

Not true, they legit such as person and newton said multiple times it owuld be tough to get a 1 for CMC.

Multiple Panthers reporters confirmed this Adam's report though.

Your not taking a 2024 and 2025 first from the Rams, for instance - first of all the value of a 2024 first is not equal to that of a 2023 first, and they are essentially late round picks. I think I saw someone posted comparable trades and the players Jacksonville and the Jets got and it was bad. So For example, I think Fiterrer would think a lot harder if it was say, the eagles pick in the top 10 right now and next years first than 2 late round firsts.

Agree, this is why I don't take Bryce Young number 1 either. Part of number one is measurables and potential. QB's can learn and grow the mind with study and experience, but you can't grow 5 inches. It has to be part of the evaluation.

I'm finally excited - a chance to rebuild the right way

You don't have to tank when your starting QBs are PJ Walker and Jacob Eason... I don't understand how folks to don't get this.. the season was lost the minute we fired Rhule at 1-4. -
It's ridiculous to pass on a potential franchise QB because of a third round rookie who looked like they didn't belong in even the pre-season last year.
-
I love Bryces game, but with the number one pick I think you have to factor in measurables and potential growth. Stroud and Levis have those... So I think Stroud is the one.
-
I see we got the ongoing, never ending wait till next year crowd going. If you keep waiting for next year, you will always miss. Pick a QB this year and roll... This is the way.
-
What? Tom Brady played for Michigan. Literally none of these apply to him.
-
I wouldnt trade DJ or Burns unless it's an astronomical haul. Shaq yes, Donte yes, but the rest of the young core, no thanks.
-
I don't see this as a tank, we certainly didn't come into the year looking to tank. It just so happens the team is so bad that we are in that conversation. I think it's overwhelmingly clear that if we didn't win we needed to shake things up. This is the shake up, and a different path to changing our landscape. If it works, you will see vastly improved team next year. But if you were hoping for some major turn around this year because we fired Rhule and started PJ Walker then you need to take off the rose colored glasses and face the reality of this team.
-
Didn't he just put a soccer team here? He gonna move that too? This make no sense lol.
-
To be fair, I believe it was Hurney who made the Teddy deal, not Fiterrer.
-
I feel more comfortable with Fitterer making decisions like these that Rhule, I'll tell you that. With that being said, it does feel like he's walking on egg shells in the press conferences... not really a good sign to me.

Great assessment, the more I watch the more I worry less about his size and am excited by the other skills he brings to the table.
