  1. Per an inferior site: 2025 Roster Cuts Jack Plummer, quarterback Jack Henderson, safety Tre Swilling, cornerback Kobe Hudson, wide receiver Jacolby George, wide receiver
  2. I don't think that either of them are top-tier starters, but I wouldn't call Darnold a bum either. I WAS definitely more excited for Mayfield than him certainly, but the man did lead the Vikes to a 14-3 season last year: Key Stats for Sam Darnold in 2024 QBR: 102.5 Passing Yards: 4,319 (career high) Touchdowns: 39 (career high) Completion Percentage: 66.2% (career high)
  3. I am of the opinion that we keep all 4. If not, Mitchell has outplayed Evans, IMO. Evans has a good chance of clearing waivers.
  4. The fact that Darnold and Mayfield left us and played well for their next teams is just a kick in the balls for how our organization was being run.
  5. I want this guy that the bears cut based on his name alone!
  6. Mitchell has been our best TE, as far as I've seen. The more I think about it, the more I think we go into Tuesday with 4 TE's on the roster.
  7. There's been talk/rumors about trading him for the entire preseason. I could see him being open to going back to the Vikes.
  8. Your point is valid, and I see no reason Plummer should be in the NFL, but it's kinda like arguing which is the better car, a pinto or a gremlin.
  9. And Canales didn't want 31 other teams to get another look at him! Every player on every team has "general body soreness" every day.
  10. all 3 TDs caught by Jacolby George, who we cut. He gets picked up by the raiders and wins ROY.
  11. That's why I think we go 4 TE, at the expense of that 10th OL guy. IF Tremble is active against JAX, his reps will surely be limited. We want Sanders to be a pass catching TE, but his blocking is subpar compared to the other 3. Mitchell has been our best TE in preseason games, and I think Evans has potential to surpass Tremble next season. I doubt we have 4 active TE's on game days.
  12. You and I were spot on on offense except I had Moore over Tremayne although I see your point about Moore not having to clear waivers. My other question was whether we kept another lineman (Kandra?) with Zavala being hurt, but he was back in pads today. On D, we disagree on a couple of bottom of the roster guys. I had Crumley over Robinson and Bam over Rhattigan, but WTF do I know. Rhattington played well Saturday. Also, I agree that Fitzgerald hasn't done enough to displace Wright.
  13. The quote says "...I can't provide like I once did". No one in the Newton family is going hungry.
  14. I've not been impressed with anything I've seen from him but don't want to see anyone fug up their career. And that looked bad in real time. I said a little "thank ya Jesus" when he came out of the blue tent with his helmet instead of on a cart.
  15. They were fun to watch on the first couple of series then I was reminder that TB12 was a part owner so I turned it off in disgust! Also why I don't rent from Hertz.
  16. I watched the beginning of the Raiders game and Chinn was making plays. Came up with a big INT on Mac Jones. On a side note, Ian Thomas still sucks at catching the ball.
  17. They should get plenty of time on the field to practice...
  18. If only our LT could block... sorry, I had to say it after he whiffed on 2 out of 3 plays on that 2nd drive.
  19. Tremayne was making plays on ST as well. It's darned near impossible that he makes the final 53, but he caught my attention for sure (even though I admittedly had to look him up).
  20. OK people, I'm in the Wilmington area, and Fox is Abysmal using an antenna. I just decided FUGGIT and purchased NFL+ only to find out that my local game is blocked! WTF? Is this a preseason thing or are all the panthers' game going to be blacked out?
  21. yeah... I currently have 54 on my roster (55 counting Mwansa), and 1 of them is NOT Blackshear. I also think that we'll be all over the waiver wire for a RT, FS, and CB. I like our starters and 90% of our backups, but we have some glaring weaknesses even if the new guy ALL hit. 9 OL, 7 WR, 2 QB, 3 RB, 4 TE. 6 DL, 5 OLB, 6 ILB, 6 CB, 4 S.
