  1. Texans were the worst team in the league last year and we were a few plays from making the playoffs (even after a horrible start with Rhule). We had a solid foundation out there for a rookie QB, AND THEN got busy AF in the offseason to build a damn near perfect scenario for him.
  2. Screw it, it's preseason. Let Sanders heal up and get Chuba and Blackshear meaningful snaps. Sounds good to me.
  3. He always seems to be in competition for being the lesser of 2 evils.
  4. I've been thinking this too. By all accounts, he's looked great at RG since OTA's. However... McCray was running with the 1's yesterday.
  5. The only QB that would get that PI call retired last year.
  6. Kamu's name is getting called out just about every practice. I, for one, am much less worried about our depth.
  7. Man, I hope to see this a few times every game! I was all about pass rush in the draft but am excited to see these 2 develop together.
  8. The Panthers brought in another kicker Tuesday, as Eddy PiƱeiro manages an injury that could cost him some preseason time. The team added Matthew Wright after a pre-practice workout Tuesday. Wright has kicked for the Chiefs, Steelers, and Jaguars in his career. He was the guy who helped the Jaguars snap a 20-game losing streak in 2021 when he hit a game-winning 53-yard field goal against the Dolphins in London. He's appeared in 23 games in his career and is 40-of-46 on field goals and 35-of-37 on extra points.
  9. I think Shi just won the lottery. Of course, Jennings has been making a lot of noise at camp, and Saunders and Wright are always on the fringe of making the roster. So who knows.
  10. I love a WR with a skinny ass...and hate a woman with one!
  11. If so, could be a career ender for a 30 year old WR who's known as a "speed guy".
  12. Bye bye Birdie. I hate it for him, I've always routed for the guy. I had him being the 6th WR making the roster.
  13. We really need him to develop as a pass catcher! He was seldomly used that way at Notre Dame, but doesn't mean he can't learn.
  14. James Campen as well, but they were definitely exceptions to the Rhule Ironically, (or maybe not) these 2 exceptions were kept around by the new regime. Reich recognizes talent.
  15. On 3rd and long, Burns and Houston are obviously on the field. Johnson and YGM are bigger bodies to put against the run. Haynes was a shoo-in prior to his injury. A lot of young guys fighting for a few spots. I hope they all get a good look the next 3 weeks.
  16. Same here, but I like that Rowe can play all over the secondary. Also, I thought we cut Deonte Brown already. I was surprised to see him on the roster.
  17. If you found last season funny, I bet you giggle your butt off at SPCA commercials.
  18. A rap battle between Olsen and Ked would be epic!
  19. question is...did you pass those digits to the Topcats?
