Panthers sign wide receiver Damiere Byrd
shaqattaq replied to Jackie Lee's topic in Carolina Panthers
Hard to get overly excited about an 8 year vet who's highlight roll includes college games, but I like the signing. Especially at the price! Hope he balls TF out. -
Introducing The Athletics Dane Brugler 7-round mock draft
shaqattaq replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
There are always depth players as UDFA. Especially since we don't have rd 6 or 7 picks. -
Fug that! Let a few of them walk and drive that cap hit number back down. Lamar is going to look like even more of an @$$ if he gets hurt playing tagged.

What is it with these Friday afternoon signings? -
But Bryce Young did good on a test...right??

Forget about the panthers... @stan786 just won the off season! -
How many current NFL QBs would you trade #1 overall for?

Peyton worked out nicely for them. -
Person: Richardson still in the conversation...if we trade down
shaqattaq replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'm fairly certain (without any sources) that the Texans are the ONLY team we're considering trading with. And that caveat includes us being happy with either Bryce or Young. -

Pick #39, don't hold your breath for a WR or TE
shaqattaq replied to AU-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
That sounds like him. Just for fun...Chicago has 53 and 64, 10 overall picks, and needs several starters on their O-line. They could get a day 1 starter at 39. I'd happily trade 39 & 114 for 53 & 64. -
Albert Breer on Panthers #1 pick (no trade back)
shaqattaq replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Dammit Juan, the more I think about it the more I'm coming around to this line of thinking. I think I've switched from Team Stroud to Team Young in the last week. Go big or go home! Yes, I realize the irony in that statement when talking about BY. -

I've seen 8-9 threads on that already. Who you want at 93? -
Never heard this before, Love it.

If we draft Young or Stroud, I'm going to be happy, the coaches know what they're doing. If We draft AR, I'm going to be shocked. If we draft Levis or Hooker, I'm going to lose my poo!!!

I was literally just saying this!

Dane Brugler's 2023 Draft Guide a.k.a. "The Beast"

He does fit our plan of bringing in as many gingers as possible this offseason! -
Albert Breer's insights on the Panthers and other Top 10 teams
shaqattaq replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
@SOJA suggested trading for this year's #33, and I would make that trade. A lot of talent will be sitting there between 30 and 39, we could get our future WR and a defensive stud (CB, OLB, ILB). -

Ellis Williams charlotte observer Mock draft Apr 10
shaqattaq replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
I, for 1, think that Christiansen is good back up tackle if either go down and a quality guard is a lot easier to find than a quality tackle on day 3. I could also see bringing back Erving for T depth, Free agency has not been his friend, so he'd be a cheap signing. -

This guy has all the tools to be a beast as a pure pass rusher. With Burns getting all the attention, he could eat.

How former Panther Russell Okung looks like these days
shaqattaq replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Not just the line, Luke dropped a lot of weight when he retired. Of course, it sure stands out when the guy has always been around 300 lbs.
