  1. I'm not sure about top 10 (I haven't seen those stats), but this quote from the article sums up my feelings. And expectations. If he bounces back from last years slump, and I see no reason why he wouldn't, he's a really good QB. EXPECTATIONS FOR MAYFIELD Mayfield went just 253-of-418 for 3,010 yards with 17 touchdowns and 13 interceptions last season and ranked 27th out of 38 qualified quarterbacks with a 62.4 PFF passing grade. But even in a down year, Mayfield was considerably better than the three quarterbacks who suited up for Carolina last season in Darnold, P.J. Walker and Cam Newton, and nearly everyone we spoke to, including a scout from a Panthers division rival, expected him to be an upgrade over that trio.
  2. Stop trying to make Young Lion happen,
  3. True. When everyone else is horrible, why not let the rookie get some reps, even if he flounders a bit?
  4. First, THIS is how you report a session (looking at you David). Second, CJ acting like he wants a roster spot! Again!
  5. JJ a happy man today, they cut his competition.
  6. see also; Darnold should be gone. But Rhule is stubborn and made a bad deal, so he might stay
  7. Sounds like there are some plays that have 0% of working with Jones / current skills guys.
  8. Same here. The day Jones fired the best coach in football because he'd rather go fishing that kiss his ass, the boys were dead to me. Luckily NC got it's own team a year later... Edit: Jerry Jones is a piece of poo.
  9. That might be why Defense decided they could hit.
  10. I would have fled too if Burns was looking for my punk ass!
  11. Damn. BB went back looking for him, twice. I believe someone was about to get an ass-whoopin!
  12. Only because Corral will now be returning kick offs!
  13. First boat to leave the dock that morning.
  14. He's a backup center and a 3rd string, everyone else is hurt, guard.
  15. As much as it pains me to say it, you ain't wrong. I'd say DJ is a legit star and that as bad as Anderson was last season, there had to be someone worse (I did not pull stats), but that's semantics. Last year was his worse season ever yardage wise, so I hope it was a fluke. He's been a decent #2 the rest of his career. If he returns to 2020 form and TMJ brings some of that camp magic to actual games... we're sitting pretty.
  16. There's a different angle on the official site, it's Kalon Barnes. 4.23s 40, a combine record, and Robbie beats him deep...impressive.
  17. Can't disagree that it has continued downhill under Rhule's reign, but the fall began when RR decided he would run a 3-4 D. And failed miserably with that plan. It all starts with 2 big nasties at DT to suck up blocks. Brown has underperformed so far, but he hasn't had a lot of help in there.
