  1. Agreed. Even if Bryce plays out and we have a chance to get a good rookie QB, you take it. It's too important a position to not have a good backup/future starter at because you have a starter. injuries happen, contract negotiations fall through, etc.
  2. Bryce was playing on a high level the last part of the season. Hard to believe we played both superbowl teams that close. Philly came down to a dropped pass and we'd have handed them a L. If he comes back in that form, we won. If he goes back to early season form, we'll be picking high next year.
  3. I think Tepper gets a bad rap. The team was going downhill before he bought it. He was a new owner and took his lumps, but I do feel like he's learned and has the team in the right direction. It seems that when things are bad it's Tepper's fault and when they start turning around it's someone else's credit. Morgan was a good hire and Canales was a good hire.
  4. We were one dropped pass away from giving them an L.
  5. It's been a mix of things, Rhule was a huge mistake and that affected everything else. Tepper went with potential in Rhule, then wanted to go with reliability in Reich and got neither from either. Canales was the right guy and I think we have seen that last season. He might not be perfect, but he made things work. Bridgewater, Darnold and Baker would have looked better with competent coaches and play calling.
  6. As a rookie head coach, I think he exceeded expectations. We looked competitive in almost all our games. I don't think he's hit his ceiling. 7 of 10 for this year.
  7. They will be a force next year in the NFC South.
  8. That this was an away game made it that much more better.
  9. This has happened several years in Wilmington. Once we are out of the playoffs, they start skipping our games at the end of the year.
  10. The NFL isn't very fan friendly. You should be able to purchase NFL ticket or individual game streaming.
  11. Is there a place to bet on how fast after he was traded, that he plays a solid game for someone and the board is flooded with how we trade away all our good players? If so, then yes. Trade him.
  12. Dalton and Bridgewater didn't play that bad here. They got a lot of criticism playing behind a line that couldn't block for poo. They weren't game changers, but they weren't as bad as people made them out to be. Mayfield looked a shell of himself here.
  13. We did a lot better than I thought we'd do. Philly is a playoff team. We might be a year or two away, but damn, we're so much closer than we were the last 3 years. We've been in almost every game lately and just can't pull it out.
  14. we're keeping it closer than I thought we would though.
  15. I think I've seen at least 2x they were in the neutral zone too. Not crossing just lining up there.
  16. We need a strong DT or DE. Compliment Brown or replace him if needed. The line needs work because stopping the run is our biggest weakness right now. Then LB, DB, C, TE. If we can get any one of those in FA, then we look at WR or S.
  17. I think we look at both. I wouldn't mind resigning Dalton for a deal. He would know the offense and there is no pressure to see what we have in him. Then I wouldn't mind finding a low round rookie with potential.
  18. I think Bryce looked better since he's been back. But I don't have much faith in him. He needs to be consistently better. If he finishes the season improving game after game, then we're in a good spot. If he doesn't, then we need to move on.
  19. 31-7. Chiefs know stopping Chuba is number 1. Bryce gets another 4th quarter, doesn't matter, touchdown against the prevent.
  20. I don't look forward to playing the chiefs. Good to see Curtis Samuel get a TD on them though.
  21. Yes. We didn't even look that good. I did like that we're rolling Bryce out. Last year we just parked him in the same spot all game long.
  22. The saints are decimated by injuries. Don't read too much into it.
