Because Rhule grifted the fug out of them. Developer of talent my ass. Rhule simply didn’t like Teddy’s talk back at the coaches and wanted a young yes man.

The pull was fine. Though it should have been flagged as holding. It was his leg/kick and trip/takedown motion that was dirty as fug. No wonder belichick likes him.

That’s rough. As much as I dislike him as our center you gotta feel for the guy, that most likely will be the end of not only his time here but his NFL career. Tough break Paradis, get well man. First a tibula a few years ago that almost did him in. Now an ACL? The most he can hope for is a serviceable backup at this point.

And why we paid him I will never know. He was obvious he was not happy with the Darnold decision, he sat out of OTA’s. If we didn’t pay him I’m betting he would have sat out the games too. The whole situation was very high risk, we could have easily traded Robbie for a pick or two if his contract wasn’t so Hugh. Fitts made a big mistake there. But I’m sure it all came down from Rhule. I’m betting Robbie told Rhule “I’m not playing if you don’t pay me more”, Robby being Rhules guy you know Rhule just said “Ok”.

Who’s gonna call it? Shaq? Robby? CMC? DJax? Only person who could call it and not immediately get canned/Rhule poo list is Robby probably and I don’t think the rest of the players would be partial to him ripping them.

Yep, he only wants players who will be yes men and keep quite about anything coaching. Why do you think Cam got cut? Cam already had an identity, an identity that did mesh with Rhule. He wants players that will take on his identity, yes that works great in college. This ain’t college and in the pros Rhules identity is nonexistent and he’s stating to blame everything on the players. He’s on a slow road back to college land right now.

Agreed. I preached it when we hired him and right now it’s showing correct. Rhule just does not appear to have the tools to coach successfully in the NFL. He’s too used to his “process” that just doesn’t jive with adult players. He’s used to taking up high school boys. If Rhule is around next year he’s gotta give up a lot of control or this won’t work. Process was the sell from Rhule, but this team has absolutely no identity, spirit or motivation. So clearly his process doesn’t work.

What’s more interesting as I rewatch it is Robby seems to yell at DJ too. Robby is toxic and got to go if Darnold is anywhere near the building. Even as a backup next year. And that isn’t even a knock on Robby. It’s just obviously apparent he and Darnold, perhaps other players or even coaches are incompatible. I’m sure he’ll have success elsewhere in that instance.

Rhule on Darnold, that’s been proven. I’m thinking the other two as well. Rhule needs to go, or have his personnel decision rights revoked.
