    There are lots of guys out there with great ability, arguably greater ability than some others. But they just don't have the durability. Heinicke is one of those guys.

    Quick message to @Panthers Rhule The bird picked the Giants tonight but I might have screwed it up when I was trying to put it in. It looks like I entered the tiebreakers but not the actual pick. Not sure if that can be fixed but I thought I'd let you know.

    Sort of... Is he ultimately responsible for the entire organization? Yeah. Does that means he's directly involved with every aspect of the team on a daily basis? Not really. It's possible someone in stadium operations just plain screwed up and Tepper wouldn't know anything about it.

    This feels like a "come back to earth" game for us. Hope I'm wrong, but that's my gut.

    They run a lot of similar concepts to the things we do with McCaffrey. Probably makes sense that they'd have a good idea how to defend him.

    From the article itself... I get Rece Davis' thinking and maybe Mike Bohn does approach Matt Rhule in that manner but it won't happen. There's no way Matt Rhule leaves the Panthers for USC. Rhule is building something here in Carolina with the youngest team in the league and a ton of potential surrounding it.

    And? If those guys aren't ready to see the field do you have some magic coaching formula to make them ready by Sunday?

    The only other options right now are a rookie and a guy we just signed. As Hubbard transitions to the pro game and Freeman learns the playbook, you'll likely see them get more touches. They may have to rely a lot on McCaffrey early on, but as the season goes on his workload should lessen.
