  1. Did he have the power to overrule him? If he didn't, what else would you suggest he should have done?
  2. Or maybe I can just read Joe Person and Charles Robinson's reports or for that matter Matt Rhule's own words. I realize you don't think those things carry as much weight as your opinion but I feel kinda differently.
  3. Go back and read Person's story from The Athletic.
  4. A player who willingly participated in a tank would be cutting his own throat.
  5. Per Joe Person, he only "signed off" on acquiring Darnold (Mayfield too). Fitterer believes in drafting quarterbacks.
  6. It was reported there was a conversation between Joe Schoen and Dan Morgan before the picks were made. Make of that what you will...
  7. Holcomb wasn't the linebackers coach. That's Mike Siravo (a Rhule guy). Holcomb was the LB coach when we had Kuechly and Davis.
  8. Yes, based on recommendations from the scouting staff, GM and assistant GM. Rhule himself said he wasn't capable of doing the legwork that led up to the draft. That's why he didn't want an analytics based GM. (it's one of the few good things he did)
  9. Cooper was basically Rhule's right hand man. As was said before, I'm surprised he wasn't gone already.
  10. Pretty difficult to mess up on something you were never doing.
  11. You think he personally scouted all our draft prospects?
  12. Rhule had final say, but didn't do any of the draft scouting or evaluation. That was the scouting department under Fitterer. The only real scouting Rhule did was checking whether they played for him at Temple or Baylor.
  13. Remaining Schedule: Falcons @Ravens Broncos BYE @Seahawks Steelers Lions @Buccaneers @Saints
  14. I honestly don't remember much outside of Fasani having a zero rating.
  15. Always fun watching Brady get pissed off...
  16. Survived Marty Hurney... Survived Matt Rhule... Hoping the team's next hire isn't someone I need to survive
  17. Granted, but I think their biggest advantage today was in the brains department. They figured out they could exploit the left side of our D and did it all day. I'd add that sn NFL defense shouldn't be as vulnerable to simple draws and screens as ours was today. That's coaching.
