  1. IDK about that anymore. O'Brien is gone and they gang raped Cleveland on the Watson deal by sticking to their guns. I am not sure I want to tangle with them. We have mainly lost every trade we have made so far under Fitt/Rhule. Caserio was the guy Belichick kept blocking from leaving.
  2. Pickett will probably be a better NFL QB than Willis. I realize that probably isn't saying a lot since Pickett best case is Andy Dalton.
  3. Do you promise to ban Rhule when he spoils our picks?
  4. Not to mention Cam also went on to dominate at Allbarn, win a NC and Heisman. Had he just stayed and whatever JUCO he was at, there is little chance he ended up in the first round.
  5. Same here. I am largely regarded as an asshole in my industry, which I am okay with.
  6. Last few hours to weigh in. I plan on doing a poll Friday night to compare this to.
  7. Yeah, we will see. He was also known for being a loud mouth in his career, so who knows if that has changed. It typically gets worse and not better with age.
  8. True. I think he needs to learn the lesson to shut his fuging trap except in private.
  9. I mean, his salary is only bloated for us. We could trade him and he would be cheap for the team we traded him to. The dead cap hit this year would be nuts, though.
  10. I think that definitely didn't endear them to prospective free agents across the board. Teddy is a pretty well liked veteran, although he might not be the most skilled guy. So the owner and coaches dragging him after he just spoke his mind probably didn't sit well with a lot of veteran players.
  11. I work with enough old people all over the country to see and hear enough open racism or thinly veiled racism. Back when I gave a poo about trying to change people's minds, I would talk to them about this poo and it almost always boiled down to a learned response(relatives or people they were around growing up) or some event that happened to then and they chose to decide that "those people" were all like that. Seems to be fairly universal across all races or religions for that matter. Now I just ignore it. It's nothing I care to fight and most of that crowd is old enough that they wouldn't change regardless of the circumstances. My general opinion is that they are all headed towards death anyway, so let them die and I just won't have to fuging hear it as much.
  12. I think it also may just be that they don't have many or any options at QB. Good free agents don't want to be here. It just kind of is what it is.
  13. If we draft a big time DE and sign Brown, I could warm up to that. If we draft some othet ignorant poo(especially QB) at 6, I am gonna be furious(not really, I sort of expect this).
  14. Yeah, Rhule may be a scummy used car salesman but nothing about him screams blatant racist. I think Sam just didn't throw him under the bus, so he doesn't have reason to be butthurt. Also, I think the Sam failure is even more of a hit to his ego so it's harder to throw in towel.
  15. Not really giving up, just angrily waiting it out.
  16. I think it probably does to some people. Racism is real and in plenty of places. It is hard to know what is in someones mind/heart.
  17. But what is the common thread there? Rhule picked all those fools. Hence why he should go. Remember, this man got a windfall if a contract and complete control of personnel. The buck stops with him. All failures are his.
  18. It is an assumption that he was humbled. I think TBD on that.
  19. I don't think it was racially motivated. I think they were very butthurt that Teddy spoke honestly about how they didn't prepare like he was used to for critical game situations. In fairness, most of the board(me included) jumped all over Teddy for that. In hindsight, he was 100% accurate. Look no further than the 2021 offseason TC reports where they talked about the emphasis on game situations in practice.
  20. I mean, it didn't get better under OC #2 last year. I don't know that Rhule is likely to ever be humbled. Reference his comments to the team about him being able to get a college job. I don't think to his core he believes he is doing anything wrong. I don't think you will see the moment Rivera had where he reached out to his mentors and asked what he was doing wrong. I don't know if he is going to be forced to listen to anyone. They all work for him, after all. We will see what happens but my hopes are pretty low while he is at the helm.
  21. Ah, the NFL is still great even without the Panthers. In some ways it is a lot easier to watch the NFL without the Panthers. Go to your local sports bar and watch all the games at once while taking in a few brews. It's still fun.
  22. Love his skill set but I saw him completely come unraveled against good competition way too often in college. Literally almost every P5 team he played it happened.
