  1. 89 remembers when the Carolina Panthers were an NFL team. This cheap imitation is not that.
  2. I mean the roster, save for a few, are a rich pack of losers. Sacks happen. Drops happen. Interceptions happen. Missed tackles happen. Losses happen.
  3. OK I've made them in other threads but here are my official predictions: - Rhule is kept for another full season, regardless of record even if it's 0-17 - At least two of McCaffrey, Moore and Burns are not on the team by this time next year - None of the draft picks acquired for them will amount to anything more than backups - Rhule will trade the 2023 FRP for a 2022 FRP in the 15-25 range, where he'll pick an OL - Rhule will use the No. 5-6 overall pick on Sam Howell - Week 1 depth chart: Sam Darnold/Sam Howell or PJ Walker
  4. At least now, you'll never again have to worry about picking 7th-15th, because the only time the Panthers will ever have a first-round pick outside the top 6 is if they acquire one in a trade.
  5. By the way, McCaffrey's been IR'd when he's actually able to play for a combined six games over the last two years. A coach can influence the narrative.
  6. I'm more proud of those fans than anything the players did
  7. I also work in advertising, but to be honest, the messaging would've needed to be in market at least a few weeks ago for a real impact. Rhule made it this far -- he's getting another year, unfortunately, so just boo lustily whenever humanly possible and save the cash for september, when the campaign can really stretch its legs
  8. He's gonna be such dogshit too. As is the case with every position Rhule impacts, it'll be an astronomical downgrade
  9. Nah the rest of the cap and the 2023 first-rounder is going away in the Mariota trade, then Howell goes first-round along with somebody from Baylor
  10. Dwayne Jarrett actually scored a regular-season touchdown. This is a taller Ryne Robinson
  11. Oh, nobody's a bigger Rhule fan than me. I've always known he'd turn it around
  12. Yes. His name is Sam Howell, and you're going to be really excited about him until the end of Week 1.
  13. It took Jay-Z 7 years to win a Super Bowl
  14. lol yeah, I'm sure he had his own IAmHubby too
  15. It's like a dog whistle, just because you can't notice it doesn't mean it's not working perfectly
  16. I guess it is. Flailing aimlessly amidst constant failure is, in some ways, a concept. And you gotta hand it to Rhule: as rich as his contract is, nobody's better at passing the buck. fuging bitch.
  17. Sam Howell will just be the next in a line of failed QBs. You're witnessing like the 2000 Cleveland Browns through the 2018 Cleveland Browns, only without that 11-5 season in 2007. Howell is the Panthers' Brady Quinn, only picked in the top 6.
  18. That gut feeling is predicated on what previous regimes did, and how they, you know, tried to get better. No such concept exists now.
  19. I believe it. I never thought I would, but I never thought an NFL team could be as bad as the Panthers are. They're not only bad, they're unlikable, they have no identity or character, they have absolutely no future other than that of winless seasons and abject failure, and their owner is as likable as Charlie Manson
  20. I haven't watched a single football game at any level since November. Don't plan on it next year, either, other than a few college games and the Navy/Notre Dame game I'm planning on attending
