    Completely disagree on your Mike Jackson assessment. There are a ton of guys that play in the slot that are great matchups for him... especially now that the tight end is essentially a third receiver. He also is solid in run support and would hugely improve our run defense playing in the nickel.

    I would disagree that CB is a massive need. Mike Jackson and Jaycee Horn both played very well last year with a front 7 utterly incapable of pressuring the QB or stopping the run. That said, I'd love to see Jackson moved to nickel and Ramsey take over outside. I would trade a 5th rounder for him in a heartbeat.

    In fairness, Cam won a MVP and took us to a super bowl with no WR1 to speak of.

    We have a pretty talented offense, and a serviceable defense. We should finish middle of the pack this year. The X Factor, of course, is the QB. If he elevates his play then we can have a middle of the pack team overachieve and make the playoffs.

    If we are leaving God-King Mahomes out of the equation, then my answer would be Chris Jones or Dexter Lawrence. It all starts up front.

    The drops were tough, but my main takeaway from last season was just how he was getting very open, very consistently. I really think rookie jitters got the best of him on the drops. I believe he's going to show out.

    Crazy high motor. Super aggressive. His film reminds me so much of Jared Allen.

    There's a good chance that moving back to the upper teens or low 20s nets us just as good of a player as we were looking to get at 8 to be honest. This draft appears to be lacking in top flight, earth-shattering talent, but very strong overall. It's about the perfect draft to have a lot of picks in.

    The fact that Kuechly, a middle linebacker, was downfield in the back pocket of the best WR in the NFL, and was in position to make a play on a ball 50 yards downfield, is a testament to his greatness. I don't believe there's another LB in the history of the game that would be in position on that play.

    The Panthers have been hilariously bad at drafting in the 2nd round since around 2004. The pick is worth throwing away to get the right guy. It'd be worth it to give up a 2nd. Just one though. Not two.

    I'm all in on the Chiefs and have been for a few years now. Mahomes is the best player in NFL history, period, and I feel privileged to be alive to witness his assault on the record books.
