This forum wrote the dude off completely after a couple games last year. It was hilarious. We have the most childish fanbase in existence.

Only way I'd do it is for a stud pass rusher or LB and I don't think anyone in the league is making that trade.

Dak puts up 400+ on us, we lose by 40

He's going to have two mediocre seasons and be irrelevant.

Dak is gonna throw for 800 yards on us.

The Dowdle Mirage - Play Calling Problems
DeAngelo Beason replied to tukafan21's topic in Carolina Panthers
If you take away all the good plays there were nothing but bad plays. -
Aggressive runner, hits the hole fast, and runs angry. Just a few yards shy of the single game record for the team. Absolutely phenomenal performance. If the gameplan hadn't become weirdly pass heavy for the 3rd and first half of the 4th quarters he might have been flirting with 300.

Eric Collins Calling First NFL Game (ours)
DeAngelo Beason replied to Daddy_Uncle's topic in Carolina Panthers
He was absolutely sensational calling today's game. -
Precisely. Even mediocre QB play nets us a 3 score win in that game.

Bryce Young Is a Symptom, Not the Disease
DeAngelo Beason replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
Nah. He's the disease. -
Being the head coach of the team is the only qualification one needs to have this right. The questions is nonsensical. Coaches get their own staff. Yes, he accepted the job, but you're badly glossing over the entire point, which is that the biggest standout losers and failures on the team are guys that were here before he showed up, and as far as we can tell he's not been permitted to change things

This man led the worst defense in NFL history and kept his job because he's Tepper's pick. Tepper insisted on keeping him when Canales was hired.

Legette “I can’t say I sat back and learned anything”
DeAngelo Beason replied to *FreeFua*'s topic in Carolina Panthers
He wants out. The QB is absolutely atrocious and he's becoming his scapegoat. I didn't see Bryce throw one good ball to Legette in the first couple games. -
The thing is, there's not a part of the organization that isn't. Would you rather buy a trailer park full of mobile homes that are about to disintegrate, or just build a few new houses? Sure, you won't make money while you're building the new houses, but the long term payoff is going to be much, much better. Same exact situation. Canales was forced to keep a bunch of mobile homes instead of being allowed to build new ones . Now he might suck at building, but we can never know unless he is given the opportunity. I'm not saying he's done a good job or a bad job. He hasn't been allowed to do a job period.

How do you or I know who he can or can't call up? That question doesn't even make sense. Of course he has relationships. What matters is building YOUR team. I don't know if you've ever been a part of a team, sports or otherwise, but I promise you goals are not achievable when you assemble a team of people that don't know how to make each other better. Bryce Young cannot be made better. He doesn't have the basic tools. Of course he was brought in to try to make Young better. Any coach we hire would be brought in for the same purpose. Again, irrelevant to the point, which is that coach has not been permitted to build his own operation. If you or I were hired to some sh*tshow and forced to keep the people that made it a sh*tshow, I would expect it to run exactly the same under me, regardless of the scenario.

Cam Newton, Jordan Gross, Ryan Kalil, Jon Beason/Luke Kuechly, Thomas Davis, most of the entire defensive line, Steve Smith, Greg Olsen, Jeremy Shockey, Jonathan Stewart, and Deangelo Williams are all obscenely more talented than their counterparts on this roster.... oh, and Rivera didn't have a sociopath owner of the team. "Heights" meaning one more win??? With somewhat competent QB play OR a defense that wasn't giving up 200 yards a game on the ground this team easily wins 4 more games last season. Bryce Young is not it. I assure you that it is not Canales' decision to keep or release Bryce Young. Only David Tepper will be making that call. If you think otherwise you've been wearing blinders since that moron bought the team. If you recall, Tepper also made the decision to keep Evero. The same applies. Until Canales can actually build the program he wants (not the program that Tepper wants) he has absolutely no chance at success.

Kurt Warner on Panthers offense
DeAngelo Beason replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
All Young needs is 5 all pro receivers, Gronk at tight end, and a few pro bowlers on the o-line. Then, I assure you, he will be as good as Andy Dalton. -
BECOMING the norm... 50+ has been a regular kick attempt for like 30 years dude. I'm not complaining about his miss. I'm just saying it's funny how the one decent thing we have to talk about on the team is an average as fug kicker.
