Official Bucs at Packers NFC Championship Gameday thread

Man so much QB drama to go through this off season, both with veteran QBs and QBs in the draft. QB musical chairs..... -

That PI call at the end of the game was brutal, but the Packers have to look at themselves....especially their coaches as to the reason why they lost this game. Again, you don't put yourself in a position where the refs can make 1 or 2 calls that really screw you. -

If this game was being played in Tampa, Brady would have gotten that call. -

I think the route he ran and his momentum didn't really allow for that to be completed for a TD, but you are right no effort whatsoever to drag his feet or try to stay in bounds. -

Tampa Bay is playing man coverage a lot so far daring Rodgers to beat them. It's a dangerous move... -

If Brady gets the amount of time he's had a couple of times so far the Packers are in for a looooong afternoon. -

I remember that game, amazing some of the dumb decisions Panthers head coaches have made over the years....... -

Winfield will be missed by Tampa Bay, Rodgers will probably look to pick on his replacement when he's able to. -
I think he is on the fringe, if his foot would have let him play the last 3-4 years his stats would have been better and that would have helped his case.

or maybe the Panthers had this ready like newspapers and media have obituaries already written for celebs, sports stars, and politicians.

Kudos to the best TE in Panthers history....if the HOF awaits I would think he would go in as a Panther. At the very least the ROH awaits!

Deshaun Watson may not be a Jet!!
Rocky Davis replied to Panthers Royal's topic in Carolina Panthers
That Armando dude is a Miami homer and threw that rumor out there. -
To back up my sarcasm, he writes for a Miami paper so of course the Dolphins are amongst Watson's top choices. Miami does have the ammo though to make the trade, but like a lot of others have said: Miami already fleeced Houston once and play in the AFC....does Houston let Miami take advantage of them again?
-
Ahhhh yes, Armando Salguero huge NFL Insider!
-
The problem is we are all going on the theory that the Jets get Watson.....they aren't going to want an albatross of a contract that Teddy brings! We are talking about the Jets though!
-
To be honest, I was a little surprised that Detroit expects to get a first round pick back. I suppose they are thinking mid to late round first.
-
I understand your view, but you can't go off of what was done in Seattle. This is a different brain trust than the one Fitt was previously in. I think we'll have to wait and see how our committee does things moving forward to predict future actions....
-
I see Indy and San Fran as two real options for Stafford. San Fran especially intrigues me because that team's window is now.
-
That won't be happening...at least not this year's first. I will say if we stand pat and don't trade or sign a FA QB and the QB we want isn't available at #8, I'd say trade back a little and draft Mac Jones. We get maybe an extra 2nd rounder and a rookie QB who possibly could be a franchise QB. This would be pushing all our chips onto the table, but Jones is getting drafted somewhere in the mid first round.
-
Stafford makes more sense cost wise than Watson does, but that's on the theory that we draft our future "franchise" QB within the next three years. Detroit is going to want a first rounder back so I am just really unsure what we do now because Detroit is in the QB market and picks #7 ahead of us. Should be interesting....

Teddy checks down 25 times and leads a potential game winning drive in the 4th quarter only to complete a 4 yard pass when we needed 8 yards on 4th down and we lose the season opening game.

Our old buddy Josh McCown has a job opportunity...
Rocky Davis replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Not only is his only coaching experience at the high school level, he wasn't even a head coach or offensive coordinator. He was the QB coach at his sons' high school!
