Yeah because Reddick wasn't taking his sacks..... His sacks were up last season and in a contract year he regressed. Great way to show he's elite.

He is Mr. Invisible in run defense and can't cover worth a poo when dropped in zone schemes. Burns only value comes when he is paired with a dominant Edge opposite of him a la Reddick. I was in the camp to re-sign Reddick but of course we didn't. Burns is an above average Edge, not a game changer. Tag him, trade him, just get the narcissist who is clearly deluded about his ability off the Panthers. I can't stand folks who can't be honest with themselves.

If they can run a double move for Odunze and keep Penix upright they can beat Johnson.

Howell isn't a starting NFL QB, plenty of tape with him throwing ducks up for grabs when pressured. I chuckle thinking about him or really any QB behind the line we had this year..... Jacoby Brissett is a better pro QB than Howell.

There was one season where Rhule was the coach that CMC went out early in the season and never returned. I think at the time they said it was an ankle injury and we really never got any kind of update on what kind of injury and any progress. Anyways, I will always believe once CMC got that big daddy contract and Rhule and Co. arrived he decided to peace out urged on by his model girlfriend. They wanted West Coast not Charlotte, NC.

I don't think Gross-Matos will break the bank and I think the dude played pretty damn hard. Some of the players that we all want gone are not FA or RFAs so unless we can dump them they'll probably be back. Bryce has to be told he has to get comfortable taking snaps from under center because otherwise he won't work out as an NFL QB....we are way too predictable and it's stupid even trying to run the ball starting 5-7 yards behind the LOS in the NFL.

As for Burns, tag him if he doesn't want to negotiate. If he doesn't sign he can sit at home and we retain his rights. Teams don't look kindly on the type of player who will sit out and pout over a fair deal. He'll have to come back after not playing and not get paid as much on a "prove it" deal and I have doubts unless he is opposite a real disruptive DE that he won't be able to generate $30M+ contract #s.

I don't think he is overrated, he just needs solid coaches around him and stability. I do believe that he should retire though and isn't what the Panthers need.

For both the ACC and PAC 12 it was about the potential revenue split being lower with 12 teams in. I don't know what the Big 10 was thinking. Anyways, shortsighted and you're right it did cost both conferences.

Actually refreshing to see them pick it up, that push was after the play was done and didn't affect the outcome. Following the rule book though it technically WAS a block in the back, but there is no consistency with these refs now.
