This play not only shows how uncomfortable and scared Darnold is with this offensive line, it also shows our coaching staff's continued ineptitude to call a good play OUT OF A TIMEOUT on a 3rd down play. Bunch all your wide receivers, who by the way haven't really shown any ability or desire to block well, on the left side of the formation and call what looks like to be a quick screen. Two players on the right hand side of the formation to possibly go to and both covered well....Sam never looks that way. This is not an NFL offense, I can draw up better plays in the damn dirt on the playground than this OC and head coach can preparing all week. How in the hell did they think this was going to work? Sam looks like he is dancing back there and then does his receiver a solid by throwing the ball at the ground so the receiver doesn't get put in the ICU in a New Orleans hospital. PATHETIC.

Jeff Nixon makes me long for the Joe Brady days. He's that bad. We ran the same quick pitch run play to the right side 3 or 4 times yesterday, it worked well once. Didn't even try to run it to the left side or through a different formation. His playbook is 3 pages max. DJ Moore has checked out and I'm pretty sure Robbie is out there going through the motions. This is an epic clusterfug that Tepper seems to be just fine with.

Which in turn makes our offense very predictable, there's only so many ways to run an offense when the defense knows you can't take the safeties and LBers out of the box because we have to get the ball out in 3-5 seconds....if that.

Tepper keeping Rhule after all this embarrassment.....no testicles. We clearly do not have the coaching in place for an NFL team, and I question the ability for us to evaluate talent. If Rhule has control I'll give Fitterer a pass...if not we are and have been royally fugged.

Can't install a completely new one, but you can change routes and runs out of formations, and you can add some plays to the playbook. These are professionals....at least that's what they are called.

I think Snow still thinks he has Gilmore and Horn out there to single cover guys when blitzing. I also don't think they have coached these guys on how to play zone when it is 3rd and long....the # of times we've given up 3rd and longs is ATROCIOUS. WTF?

Really great win, I have no doubt RBA ripped into the team during the first intermission and then told the boys this game was theirs to win during the second. Play was abysmal in the first and woke up in the 2nd from it's slumber. The 3rd period was just straight fire!! Damn I love this team.

If we always play with this kind of mentality when we are down we will go far this season, never say die and grind it out attitude. Nice!!

The thing that makes this so impressive is how there is no lag between him handling the puck and picking it up and putting it in the net....it's one motion. That was a hell of a play......

He played better last year than he has this year. Showed some real promise as a run stuffer and pushing o-lineman back into the QB, I don't know what has happened this year. Brown may have already tuned out this coaching staff, hopefully that's all it is.

He did whiff on Cam's run, got juked by Whitehead....otherwise he wasn't that bad and should have been playing the last 8 weeks to get better. As to Gholston's other sack, I must have missed it but will watch again. I am sure you are probably right.

Wrong on Gholston's sack, he ran a stunt and went right up the middle to get the sack. We had Michael Jordan and Miller blocking one guy and let Gholston come free. Our offensive line is dumb as bricks not picking up blitzes and defensive stunts.

He actually wanted New Orleans, but they were keeping Brees.
