    Naturally, selecting the starting right QB at # 1 will be the key to the Panthers draft success obtaining two starters with the first two pick would be icing on the cake.

    Exactly. It looks like Alabama QB Bryce Young is a lock for the Panthers at # 1. Who do think they will select in the 2nd Rd. ?

    Very true, After his first loss or bad game, Aaron Rodgers will be ripped by the N.Y. Media, it will so unlike the Green Bay Press that coddled him.

    If the Jets have high hopes that Aaron Rodgers, a QB on the down slide of his career, is going to march them to the Super Bowl, I fear they will be highly disappointed.

    Good ole Jake. One of my all time favorite Carolina Panthers players. Jake passing to Smitty brings back such fond memories.

    I suppose the both just became well known and entrenched to the point that ESPN felt it was better to retain them than let them go and have to get some unknown replacements later.

    I would tend to believe and take to heart what ESPN's Todd says but I lost all confidence in ESPN's Mel Kiper after he gave out just great raves and build up about Jimmy Clausen and we all know how that turned out.

    I noticed today that several top of the sports people were saying they thought Kentucky QB Will Levis would be selected in the draft before Ohio State QB C.J. Stroud.

    Like you, I feel sure Tepper is letting his preference be known in a subtle away but smart enough to listen and listen good to the fine staff he has installed.

    I think Tepper is smart enough to learn by previous mistakes and has mainly relied on his qualified staff to make football decisions, including the chose of QB to draft. That is not saying Tepper didn't have a certain amount of input, mixed in with a lot of support in he background.
