  1. Nobody will give a fug about any of this if we win tomorrow night
  2. Wilson making Dallas pay for not respecting his athleticism
  3. I can always appreciate a good, clean, hard squared-up hit like Vander Esch just laid out
  4. I hate the Cowboys and Clete Blakeman as any self-respecting person should, but if you've got your hands all over a WR with your back turned to the ball they're gonna call that all day.
  5. Having a contrary opinion is one thing, that's whatever. But there's a difference between CPantherKing posting ten thousand word exegeses about how some USFL quarterback is the next Patrick Mahomes and some dude just shitposting over and over again about how he totally knew the Panthers were going to suck. Yeah cool man, here's the world's biggest cookie just for you.
  6. Not scoring a point through the first six quarters of the season would have been bad in like 1970, let alone now in our current live ball era where nobody bats an eye at 50 burgers. I mean fug me we weren't even that bad in 2010
  7. I know Bakhtiari is out but the Falcons pass rush is having its way with the Packers so far
  8. Neat, one play into this game and we already see what would have happened if we could have scared the Falcons deep last week
  9. Yeah Jessie Bates had a great game, thanks for reminding us
  10. This might be something of a myth but I remember it being said that wearing white at home in the playoffs was a thing because our first two home playoff games were against the Cowboys and it forced them to wear their "unlucky" blues. We wear them so much I almost think of the white jersey/pants combo as our home uniform tbh.
  11. Being able to scare Atlanta deep might have been the difference between a win and loss last week. Bates straight up said they didn't have to worry about that and could just jump routes across the middle all day. Our only serious deep threat is the aforementioned Chark and unfortunately he's always injured. Some deep speed needs to be a priority this next offseason. btw you know it's Panthers football time when we're talking about next year in September
  12. I mean it's JT O'Sullivan, he played pro football in some form or another for 10 years. Most of it in the NFL. If you can last that long at the top level in football, even if you're a career backup, you probably know what's going on when you watch film. I don't like the digs at Thielen but his opinion does carry weight despite his (apparently) personal biases.
  13. From the Cardiac Cats and the high points of the Rivera years to... this
  14. eyup that's the sharps weighing in. More likely than not he plays on Monday, especially given the extra rest day.
  15. https://www.espn.com/nfl/team/injuries/_/name/car/carolina-panthers It's not on the official site yet but ESPN sourcing Charlotte Observer says he practiced today e: he did practice last Friday but was limited before he was ruled out for @ATL
  16. He's been on this site for years mostly as a ride or die Hurney Stan who insists that we would have won multiple Super Bowls if we had had him post-2012 instead of Gettleman. Now that we've all seen Hurney come back and then get fired all over again he's switched hobby horses to talk about how Aqeel Glass is the next Patrick Mahomes and he totally called Brock Purdy being a good quarterback.
  17. People talk about Brady like he was passing for a thousand touchdowns the first time he set foot on the field. In 2001 he threw 18 TDs to 12 INTs and was generally considered a grit it out gamer in contrast to QBs like Peyton Manning for the first couple years of his career. Those early 2000s Patriots teams had the likes of Willie McGinest, Richard Seymour, Ty Law, Rodney Harrison, Tedy Bruschi still in his prime, and so on. They weren't the 2010s Saints or something where they hung 48 on everyone and it didn't matter if they couldn't stop anybody.
  18. You mean you don't like hearing the guy singing to us about Burger King a hundred times in one broadcast
  19. I like how 17 started celebrating too early and basically cost them a 90+ yard touchdown
