  1. I mean fug me at least we made it like a quarter before completely imploding against Arizona
  2. This reminds me of Eli Manning's first playoff game
  3. One of those sloppy bastards and a couple games rented from Blockbuster on a Friday night was heaven when I was 10 I guess it was an inevitability but man it just feels weird to see companies starting to target millennial nostalgia
  4. Vegas sharps win again getting millions of suckers taking TCU to cover
  5. iirc TCU entered as 13 point dogs. They'd need a damn near miraculous comeback to even make that happen.
  6. I've gone back and forth several times over the years, but ultimately this is why I keep coming back to the NFL over college football. The amount of talent on the rosters is a lot more even and in the end it usually comes down to coaching.
  7. This game really demonstrates the talent differential in college football
  8. One of the saddest nattys since Alabama blew Notre Dame out of the building
  9. All the rumors and whispers going around are that Carolina is Harbaugh's first choice and the Panthers are lukewarm or possibly not interested. Harbaugh is a multimillionaire who's going to get paid whatever he wants if he goes back to the NFL, if he wants to see some mountains he can just get on a plane.
  10. Yeah it's a shitty, cold, rainy day here. What else am I gonna do.
  11. A couple hours until the Huddle goes into offseason mode and it's the same ten or so posters doing this:
  12. Yeah Jake loved to sling it. He threw interceptions and fumbled at extremely inopportune times as well which is the opposite of what a "game manager" is supposed to do. We ran a Coryell system that leaned on the running game and then used play action to set up deep bombs.
  13. We were watching John Fox let Ken Lucas get ripped to pieces against Larry Fitzgerald all over again on Sunday. I like Wilks and it seems like the players love him, but he's a middling head coach at best. Very strong position coach or coordinator but not HC material.
  14. You're really messing with fire if you're trying to play Brady in a phone booth. He has to be given as little time with the ball and as few possessions as possible, even this version of him in the final moments of his career. I really didn't like that move even when we were dominating the game.
  15. Yeah I went through a lifechanging event in 2015 that made me re-contexualize football. It wasn't a life or death matter as in the OP, but it was one of those crossroads moments when you have to make a really serious, life-altering decision and question what you prioritize in life. I still like chopping it up here on Sundays and watching the Panthers but the emotional labor is like maybe 10% of what it used to be. tbh I'm glad things are that way now.
  16. Fun fact: I had Julio Jones on my fantasy team before that game, but benched him like five minutes before kickoff because I had a gut feeling that Bene was going to shut him down lol
  17. Hitting a dude in stride off-balance from 40ish yards out, nice
  18. Complete with the Elway-copter into the end zone
  19. TCU's determination to keep Michigan in this game is Panthers-esque
  20. Seems like this game is going to turn into a track meet in the 4th
  21. Jim Harbaugh like "can I just go to the NFL now"
  22. Yeah unless he crashes his car into an orphanage or something he's gone.
