This is the answer. No doubt we should be better overall but the best athletes in the US are playing other sports Even for women, soccer has more athletes playing the sport. We see the results

Well in that case it could be an all Big Ten final. Not ideal either way. Georgia vs Ohio State and Michigan vs TCU does seem like better match ups though. Agree there

Getting to the final 16 was probably always the ceiling for the US but it is still an improvement. Looks like they are headed in the right direction
