  1. Styles is going to be a player IMO. Agree his mins were critical today. We lose without them. I cannot imagine what I would be like if we lost that one. The Manek elbow was a tech, fine but tossing him? Nope. Then literally every borderline call went to Baylor. We won so I can enjoy my day.
  2. Baylor turned this into a street fight and almost won. Incredible comeback with lots of help from the zebras
  3. They fouled out our team…ridiculous bullshet
  4. Matt Ryan had 29 INT his last 2 years at BC. He turned out just fine. I will honestly be surprised if Pickett isn’t the pick at 6. Ridder vs Pickett has to be Pickett IMO.
  5. Feel really bad for Ojabo. Hate that for anyone.
  6. He isn’t looking for excuses, Matt wants to win as much as anyone
  7. I heard somewhere that we really like Ridder. I am hoping that isn’t true personally even in a move down scenario. Mel Kiper is still raving about Ridder for what that is worth. From McShay… https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/todd-mcshay-desmond-ridder-is-kind-of-blowing-away-nfl-teams/ar-AAV8gnI
  8. Linderbaum is probably not a target with Bozeman now in the fold.
  9. 1st assuming we get a decent QB which is a long shot at this point
  10. Hey, you would know the pulse of the Steelers much more than I would. Do you think they are rolling with Mitch for now and no QBs in this draft? The Marino thing is absurd, of course, so thats delusional. Here is another article on a Tomlin/Pickett connection but who knows if any of these articles are even realistic… https://thedraftnetwork.com/articles/kenny-pickett-pittsburgh-steelers-nfl-draft-2022
  11. This is the reality of it. Stroud and Young aren’t perfect prospects either and nothing is guaranteed. We will draft a QB at 6. Fairly sure atp
  12. Lots of Steeler fans and media are enamored with Pickett and want Pittsburgh to go get him. Probably due to him being a local product but one article mentioned passing on him would be 1983 all over again. A little over the top there https://www.yahoo.com/now/passing-kenny-pickett-could-1983-105532822.html
  13. Yeah, but…teams smarter than us have reached before for QB. If we don’t get the LT then maybe but do you see Tepper waiting on QB when he supposedly loves Pickett? Dunno man
  14. I literally just posted a quote from him in another thread. Sad news.
  15. I am not saying you are completely wrong but you should probably start warming up to these 2 dudes. Just saying 1 is probably going at 6
  16. I just post em likes I sees em https://www.on3.com/news/mel-kiper-names-his-favorite-quarterback-in-2022-nfl-draft-kenny-pickett-pittsburgh-liberty-malik-willis/
  17. Pickett on Matt Rhule… https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/kenny-pickett-on-panthers-hc-matt-rhule-he-s-a-great-person/ar-AATvWP2 Apparently he Steelers are highly interested… https://fansided.com/2022/03/02/kenny-pickett-steelers-rumors-nfl-combine/
  18. From Pitt coach Narduzzi… "It's a complete joke, measuring this, measuring that," Narduzzi said. "If they want to measure anything, what they should do is do open heart surgery, go check and see how big that chest cavity is and how big the heart is inside that chest, if you really want to analyze. What are we talking about? There's nobody out there who's going to play harder and put everything he's got into it than Kenny Pickett. This kid doesn't have a flaw. That's what (scouts) do. It's the same thing at the combine, they're going to find something else to pick on him. "It's not going to be a factor." Pickett finished his career as Pitt's all-time leader in passing yards (12,303), pass completions (1,045), total offense (13,112), touchdown responsibility (102) and passing touchdowns (81) as a four-year starter under Narduzzi.
  19. Knowing his price I agree he is a very risky sign…totally agree
  20. Pickett becomes Ryan he is absolutely worth the pick. Ryan was an MVP so that would work
  21. I have been against the Pickett choice at 6 for like ever. He doesn’t have super traits at all. Is he good enough to be Kirk Cousins? I don’t know…iffy. Still the Panthers are almost certainly looking at him so I am keeping an open mind. Do wonder how much better than Darnold he actually is but he was efficient last year. One day I love Willis the next I think he will take way to long to develop, if he does. Risky pick. Willis does appear to more upside but can he develop as a passer and read defenses? If I had to make the pick right now I would go Willis. His upside is way higher
  22. The alternative is a guy that winged it and left the pocket constantly even in Mobile. I mean have to be fair there…Pickett is more proven as a passer.
