complimentary article about the Panthers draft by Yahoo Sports
Shocker replied to BlitzMonster's topic in Carolina Panthers
that Horn would have definitely been gone by pick 10. -
Cannot believe this Eden Hazard backlash for congratulating his former teammates. Aren’t we striving for sportsmanship? So damn ridiculous. If you get beat by someone better you tip your hat and move on. Damn.

The pick of Lance does make some sense in retrospect Now...the step up in comp is huge...lol SF saying he could sit 2 years today.

Watching prior teammates talking about Darnold as a leader is a great sign for us. I think we made a great decision grabbing him especially as cheap as he was.
-
Fields is a self admitted introvert and it shows. The opposite of someone like Cam Newton who was a born leader. If you put stock in natural leaders at QB, Justin isnt that guy. He stuggles in that area. Didn’t realize that till these post draft interviews.

Holy shet...if anyone watches that Matt Nagy Justin Fields talk when they picked him. So awkward. Fields sound so uninterested. wow. Wish I could post what I just saw.

Ryan Clark went off today talking about Rhule and the direction of this franchise. Amazing love for the culture being built. The Darnold train is getting full atp as well

Watching First Draft with Jaycee Horn...he was picked and hugged dad...Joe said “Now we work!”. Hell yes

Todays match win for Chelsea was very impressive but a healthy Kante makes such a huge difference for this team. Havertz is incredibly talented as is Pulisic but Kante is the difference. I like Chelsea’s chance against the rightfully favored Man City in the final.

All England UEFA final! Chelsea!

Todd McShay had the Panthers as one of his top two drafting teams in his draft podcast.

This story is pretty unbelievable.... https://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/id/31379736/officials-find-body-missing-woman-questioning-boxer-felix-verdejo Boxer Felix Verdejo turns self in after body of missing woman found 4:31 PM ET ESPN News Services A 27-year-old woman whose body was found in a lagoon in Puerto Rico was a companion of lightweight boxer Felix Verdejo, who turned himself in to federal agents on Sunday night, according to officials. The body of Keishla Rodriguez was found a couple of days after she was reported missing. She was identified Sunday via dental records, Puerto Rico's Institute of Forensic Science said in a statement. A criminal complaint filed by the FBI accuses Verdejo of punching Rodriguez in the face and injecting her with a syringe filled with an unidentified substance bought at a public housing complex. It alleges that he then bound her arms and feet with wire and tied a heavy block to her before throwing her off a bridge at 8:30 a.m. Thursday. The complaint states that Verdejo then shot at Rodriguez's body as he stood on the bridge. The complaint says a witness it did not identify helped Verdejo kidnap and kill Rodriguez. FBI spokeswoman Limary Cruz told The Associated Press that the federal agency was filing charges that would soon be announced. Meanwhile, the U.S. Attorney's Office said no decision had been made whether to pursue the death penalty. Verdejo and his attorneys previously declined comment, and police said the boxer did not originally cooperate and refused to answer questions.

Yeah, he doesn't

I mean I don't expect all these guys to hit but who knows. Pretty much would agree with the grades. Only really small thing would be I am not sure how much Chuba brings that is all that much better than Bonnafon. Kinda similar. Brown "might" need constant weight monitoring but the player is awesome if he keeps that in check.
-
Awesome job as usual!
-
Where is the longer snapper grade? lol

I thought the Saints had an extremely mediocre draft. Happy day.

What's the team's Most glaring need after the Draft?

Didn’t he tear his Achilles late Sept? I don't think the NFL allows crutches on the field. -
Man United fans going nuts today...wonder if they even play this Liverpool match

Matt Rhule on Sam Darnold and the QB Situation
Shocker replied to methodtoll's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think we need to see a good bit of Stevens and Grier in the preseason...especially Grier who hasn’t really been given a chance here whatsoever. Maybe a reason for that. -
What in the everloving fruit of the loom croissant butter is this?
Shocker replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
The talent evaluation skills of Rhule and Fitty really came into focus with this draft. They know what they are doing. I must have been wrong on Fields or questioning Darnold too much. -
What did we actually gain with the trading down
Shocker replied to AU-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Having a hard time confirming if that 4th rounder next year is Houstons pick or a pick from the Rams or Miami. Still good biz but does make a big difference.
