I only had an issue with Moore making the roster over him. I mean, have at it lol. Being fixated on Renfrow is weird -

What I worry about? The guys back on offense messing up the offensive flow that was found. Not that I don’t like them but they certainly could mess up the groove. Coker been out for awhile and Hubbard easily could prevent Rico from getting started. -

Bryce couldn’t really do anything vs Atl. He had 120 yards vs Atl and 2nd lowest QB rating on the year. Not sure mimicking that gameplan is the way. -

I said from the jump my issue was merely the comical lie Canales stated for rostering Moore over Renfrow. I got no issue with literally any other dude in play in over Renfrow but Renfrow’s biggest issue is the QB that can’t throw. I still contend he would be at least in the convo for CPOY at this stage in the season if Bryce could put the ball on him. No one has thrown more bad passes since Bryce arrived in the NFL and that is backed by his bad throw %. -
My bad, it was Bo Scarbrough and not Henry but the point was still the point
-
Clemson literally has a natty because Hurts couldn’t complete a simple forward pass once Derrick Henry got knocked out.
-
I have zero faith in Fields. He is a really bad QB. My entire point in this convo is just struggling to understand the argument we have a QB edge on Sunday and that’s why we should win lol. Bryce and Fields existing is why neither team can feel confident in a win, essentially vs any team

No one teaches loyalty to a fault like Clemson football…. -

What are the odds you happen to be most humans in this scenario? -
Comp %, TD %, yards/attempt, yards per/completion, QB rating…..all favor Fields. How is that literally no category????? Then you have his elite running. And when you add that he takes Bryce in total yards and scores. Hence why he is the more productive NFL QB to date. if you want to dismiss what a QB does with his legs that’s a you thing. We don’t do it with the good ones (Cam, Allen, Lamar, etc) and it’s still relevant when comparing the horrible ones Bryce hate? I’m merely saying I don’t get folks buying into this QB edge. Where is it. They both are really bad and Bryce hasn’t been more productive in the NFL they both are different flavors of suck. Fields has probably the odds for the best game and worst game and bigger swings because of his tools. we have an offensive edge this weekend and it ain’t QB related.
-
He is way closer to Anthony Richardson than Cam Newton on that scale of QB. Not saying he can’t get close to the Cam side but a desperate NFL team will ruin him year 1. Hope he stays another year. He doesn’t need to run away from college like others for a check anymore
-
Yeah, but if is just a straight up comparison of them as NFL players….Fields is just the more productive QB. Do that, and BY only has him I think in one statistical category. i mean once you start with the only passing counts and only the last X games? Well that’s the world every BY argument comes down to. I don’t want anything do with either, they both stink. Fields at least is legitimately elite at one aspect of football. Elite runner. I just don’t get thinking we have some clear QB edge.
-
I‘m just saying, BY being better isn’t statistically backed. Overall, Fields is better and more productive statistically
-
It’s still the NFL. Ask a weaker secondary on a team that can’t pressure to man up all game??? Seems like an easy way to give Fields layups. People talking like Fields can’t have competent days when he has outproduced Bryce Young in the NFL.
-
Technically speaking, Fields has been a better QB than Bryce Young in the NFL. I mean it’s bottom rung comparing by BY isn’t better. Thats what I don’t get about the talk this week. We don’t have a QB edge
-
Nah, only thing that stopped Waller was his snap count and being eased back in. there was a random play vs Dallas where Horn replaced Jackson but Canales has said they can’t really do that with Horn outside of a random play. It’s on some round table interview. Horn can’t travel because the rest of the D can’t play the man coverage required for Horn to travel.
-
We have never in Horn’s existence done such. Seems like super low odds to think could happen. Canales explained the other week why Horn won’t and can’t travel in their D outside some random play here or there

Greg Cosell: Bryce Young is a complimentary piece
CRA replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
He will probably be fine if Rico goes nuts. But if not, Bryce operates on about a coin flip scenario of being horrible any given Sunday pretty much regardless of opponent. -

and they don’t get paid and teams don’t keep playing them. They bounce around rosters as depth….. -

Handing the ball off -
Wonder if they just don’t run at our DTs….and throw to the TEs/RBs? thats seems to be the model to beat the Panthers Steel Curtain.
-
I mean, all that has to happen is Rico isn’t Bo Jackson and Fields doesn’t turn it over. last 2 games and the Jets win/loss record I think has people confused about the gap between the 2 teams

Sanders rushed for 74 per game, then Swift rushed for 65 per game the next year…..and in 2024 Hubbard rushed for 73 per game. Hubbard paired with the highest paid OL is plenty for Hurt to run read option and make some easy passes with and THAT is going to outpace a BY offense (which the last 2 isn’t Rico games) -

They went the playoffs before that with Hurts being the #1 rusher on the team. The highest paid OL and Hubbard would be plenty for Hurst to lead a more productive O than Bryce. He doesn’t have to be a take it to the house RB to out pace Bryce Young lol
