  1. it came to light during his last season. NFL fined him for failure to cooperate in the investigation.
  2. I tend to lump Favre and Manning in different clubs. Think Favre gets suspended today. Peyton's was he said, she said. Either side could of been true. Both could of perceived their side as the truth as well.
  3. only fact we know at this point.... is there is an unethical and whack job attorney involved....that clearly wants the spotlight on himself based off his Instagram post.
  4. technically yes but not realy. NBA warns LeBron James, Kyle Kuzma for flopping vs. Memphis - Sports Illustrated LA Lakers News, Analysis and More in this one Leonardo James flops. Foul called on the opponent. Lebron gets shots. Makes them. After the game Lebron gets a "warning"
  5. there are like two billion examples. Didn't think it really mattered that I examined the year of the gif I used. Don't see why it matters. But here is Laker LeBron. He basically is Leonardo Dicaprio. 10 years ago, 1 year ago. Tomorrow. Point remains the same. It's soccer flopping.
  6. saying NBA players flop is a shot at the current era vs the NBA of old. Jordan/Bird etc weren't out there doing a stage performance. Guys got legit tackled driving the lane back then. NFL has gotten softer too. All sports have.
  7. this is where I am I think. Cam's rookie season actually was more impressive stacked up vs those that came before him than if you did that same thing w/ Melo. But basketball is basketball and one man has a much bigger impact on a season.
  8. football and basketball comparisons are just so weird. Just easier to impact a game as a basketball player.
  9. Megatron’s last season he put up 1200+ yards and 15 TDs. In a power 5 conference. He wasn’t some gamble. and Clemson averaged 6+ yards a carry on the ground in 2 of Trevor’s 3 seasons. They didn’t run it all game because they had Trevor.
  10. Not saying I want Mitch....but just noting that Bears players have been good to us
  11. Justin Fields was 1b with Trevor until Ohio St was ravaged by COVID and could barely field a team. And started off the season before COVID hit them looking like the best QB in all of college football. he isn’t trash.
  12. Cam looks like Julius Peppers running....and was able to one man show it to a natty in the SEC. Running over and around those SEC athletes. That ain’t Lance’s resume or style.
  13. He bails out of clean pockets often and it isn’t like he is worried about SEC level athletes coming at him. that’s probably his biggest knock
  14. Bama has the best roster. Not just the best WR. So good that the best WR in football wasn’t actually regarded as the best one Bama had on their roster. He was hurt. That is Bama all over the roster. Largely, the way to beat Bama is to have the best player on the field be your QB. Fields was done after that Clemson game. He wasn’t in condition to give them game.
  15. I think if we sign Watson, draft Lance, draft Fields, draft Wilson or draft Mac....we will form into two huddle tribes of rage. I only see us uniting as one if we do nothing and Teddy starts.
  16. well I am of the opinion college football is full of guys who would thrive at Alabama playing QB....and don't have the god given tools to have success in the NFL. Bama has the best roster in college football. And it isn't close. Even when they get beat and don't win the natty....they have the best roster. It was also easier to beat Ohio St with a hurt Fields and a team that likely blew their emotional energy in that game vs Clemson. You see that a lot. Clemson was the game Ohio St had penciled in for a year. To me, that also showed. They were going to lose regardless because there was a pretty big gap IMO in talent this year between Ohio St/Bama.
  17. Fun BB fact. In 20 years, there are only 2 exceptions where he didn't draft defense or a lineman in the first round. Maroney and Harry. BB probably drafts a hog molly lol.
  18. I mean I am interested. I doubt BB is trade in to the top 10 interested for Mac Jones. I mean there was a reason Tom Brady was a 6th rounder. There were reasons BB passed on him 5 rounds in a row too. Brady is a unicorn. People always defy the odds. But the odds are the odds for a reason.
  19. yeah, I'm not buying that. Go watch that run. Nice run. Good angles. He wasn't running away from folks on that field...and it was James Madison athletes right with him not Bama.
  20. Well, then you let another team draft him too early IMO. This entire draft IMO just screams desperate teams doing desperate team things. Mac Jones, Trey Lance, etc are simply not top 15 NFL QBs IMO. You can't predict stuff and any player could prove you wrong....Trevor Lawrence could flop and the FL kid be the best in the draft. If we don't draft Fields or Wilson w/ that #8 pick then I am a pretty firm no on a QB.
  21. I'm still open to spending that #8 pick on BPA and kicking the tires on the likes of Sam Darnold. I think Darnald has potential to be better than one or two of the top 5 QBs in this draft. And you could probably get him for a 2nd or 3rd rounder.
  22. I agree w/ that. But I don't want either at 8. If we could land Mac Jones in the 2nd or more likely via a trade down in the first I would be cool with that.
  23. 2001's trio of Morgan, Jenkins, Smith defiantly tops it. Might be early to have that class jump 2007 at this early stage. Beason, Kalil, Charles Johnson, and Rosario Dawson. Might could make a case for 2002 as well. Peppers (the biggest HOF lock we have), Foster, Spoon, Wesley.
