  1. Then misses a wide open TE for a 25 yard gain...
  2. It is not shitting on Bryce to say he hasn't yet gotten to the point of being "as clutch" as Jake. Jake did it for multiple seasons. His first season as magical - something Bryce hasn't achieved yet. That isn't shitting on Bryce, get the fug out of here with that, lol
  3. The defense was abysmal for both QBs. There was a stretch (NO2, NYG, KC, TB1, PHI) where the D was playing better, but for both QBs there was a 4 game stretch of 30+ point 'performances' by the D. As to the D helping, they did a bit. But BY also had 3 TD drives >70 yards, and 2 that were 58 yards.
  4. NFL Network just said a minute ago it was because Vrabel was interviewing with the Jets and Kraft didn't want to lose an opportunity to grab him up.
  5. We don't have the personnel to execute his scheme - but instead of adjusting at all (e.g. moving Horn or Jackson to other teams #1s) he simply let them play and ugh. I think Evero may have been just going through the motions a bit too, but he also has the least talent on D available I've ever seen on a team. I think he's a good coordinator overall, but it's time to move on.
  6. Smitty wasn't Smitty when Jake took over, and while he benefited tremendously from a great defense, we haven't seen Bryce in any of the situations we saw Jake. All the hypotheticals in the world don't change the fact that Jake had 7 game winning drives in one season and took a team that had finished last in the NFC South to within a drive of winning the Super Bowl. I'm excited about Bryce and hopefully a better D will lead to the kind of results you think they will, but that just hasn't happened yet and I just don't get the need to stretch a good 10 games from Bryce to being one of the Panthers all-time greats.
  7. The thing is, we can make up all the what-ifs we want. Ultimately, Jake is one of the clutchest Panthers of all time. Bryce is NOT in that category yet - he just hasn't earned it. Since the benching, he's 4-6, so yeah. I do think Bryce is crazy clutch and I'm really excited to see how he develops next year. Never thought he could do what he's doing honestly.
  8. Tua is much more important to that team than I thought
  9. Nope, Denver is ahead of them
  10. That's exactly how I feel. I'm not sold on Bryce entirely, but I think he's shown he at least is good enough to start in this league. That could of course change next year, lol, but I hope not!
  11. I have zero problem with upgrading the backup QBs and pushing the QB room in camp to compete, but Alex Smith was a veteran and we all knew who he was by the time they drafted Mahomes. I don't think any of us can really be certain what Young is.
  12. He did. He also has gone *10 weeks straight* with a passing TD, 4 weeks straight with 2 TDs.
  13. Cam had a couple 5 TD games in 2015 (just all passing TDs, lol) Still an incredible game from Young. 21 total TDs on the season too, in 12 starts.
  14. This season, Bryce Young has 15 passing TDs and 6 rushing TDs in 12 starts. That's more than Teddy Bridgewater ever had in a season.
  15. Fans can hope for losses but is extremely rare for coaches to coach for a loss, and we weren't really in a position where that usually is what a team is doing (trying to get the 1st pick of the draft)
  16. NYJ looks completely awful, I kinda doubt we do. But I think the win is worth it.
  17. Ok that's an incredible passing chart, lol
  18. Could they? Yes, they could - but I don't think they will Need too much help on defense
  19. Sanders had his best game as a Panther today - 2 TDs, 115 total yards. Probably his last as a Panther but he was a big contributor
  20. he doesn't like it since it sounds evil, so we have to use it XD
  21. That 'pass' to Coker was absolutely Mahomes like, haha
  22. Probably his best game of his career, too. Play calling was on point.
  23. Probably gone. We're probably drafting 8-10 now.
