  1. I am thinking they flip where the run D is closer to 23 and the pass D closer to last years 32. I just don't see the pass rush being impressive, especially if they are getting rid of Clowney. Thankfully they were able to keep Jackson but if horn goes down again it could get comical.
  2. Injury history most likely. Which would also negated the entire purpose of needing a starting FS still...shoulder most recently.
  3. Just feels more of the same with different twists. Better never seems to be by much and worse is always waiting to pop out yet again. Year 2 of this build. Lots to prove. How many core guys does this roster even have after another offseadon? I'm just numb and the only anger I have left is just wanting to watch decent football again, not even great just decent.
  4. Not as huge as a civil suit tho...
  5. The seeing doesn't guarantee anything for sure. I thought his path would be blocked from civil action through the setup of the NFL and it's unions if anything.
  6. He was always the guy who didn't care about practice or being prepared. That works when you are a freak athlete and aren't in a position that has to do those things. What made Dion work as an athlete is what makes him a terrible agent. Yeah he has always been a pooshow. His kids probably think it's normal but Shaduer just paid the price big time. Started the video and it's already Dion bonkers lol
  7. Should have suspended the coach for allowing the leak. Private info is worth more than a slap on the wrist fines. I kind of hope Sanders sues. Not sure he can but that would be funny if he could recoup what he lost in the draft by having his dad as the worst agent ever since Norman's cousin.
  8. Sanders was really poorly prepared for the jump into the NFL. His dad trained him in the same stuff he got away with back in the day but that isn't going to fly at QB. When I saw he was also his agent going into the drsft I just laughed. Dion failed so hard in that job and it cost his kid millions. If he keeps acting like his dad then he is in for a rough time. If he can take a hint from the reality that just slapped him in the face and bank account then he has a chance to turn some of that around.
  9. He is better than Jewell for sure. I hope he waits until a contender has a need vs signing with some bottom feeder like the Panthers.
  10. Tet isn't Evens. He isn't as quick or uses his body as well, something Evans was known for in school. Tet catches well but he won't be the threat Evans is unfortunately IMO. It was like drafting Bryce and thinking your getting Wilson. Evans ran a 4.53 40, 7.08 3 cone, 4.26 shuttle and at the combine and not his proday. He was also 12 lbs heavier. If your expecting Evans your going to be disapointed unless you give Tet a bit of a discount on expectations IMO. Lol now it's saying they had Tet as a 4.48 at his proday when people were reporting 4.6+ at that time. It's going to be interesting to see what is real and what is BS. Proday numbers are so rounded in positive directions.
  11. Reasonable take. Looks like a 6 win team to me.
  12. Both of those teams are well run but not infallible. I get it. Some people like the pick and some people don't. That seems to surprise you and my take is hardly incendiary or reactionary. The future picks was about going to the end of the round, where I wish we moved...like I stated about where I saw good value in this draft. I would have taken most trades at a discounted value in this draft. I hope the details leak. I would like to know what they passed on.
  13. I woukd have loved droping back late. That's where the value was this year with the top lacking so much talent, end of the first and top of the second. I was also fine with taking future picks which teams devalue too much. 11 sounds great but then I would have hoped for another trade back personally.
  14. Yeah like the Rams never tried to trade for Burns and the 49ers didn't trade up for Lance. Even the better teams still do big stupid things at times. Should have taken that trade IMO. Both of those teams are desperate for rookie talent with their cap issues. This will be interesting to look back on too.
  15. Absolutely. He has the physical talent but his issues start between his ears. Again, it took baker 4 teams and 6 years to get his head out of his butt.
  16. The Bears. Even if none of the guys work out on either side, the Bears got a legit 1000k WR. I still think Williams can have a Baker-esk turn around but I'm not expecting his maturity level to be high enough on his rookie contract if ever. The Bears fleeced the Panthers and the team they have built around that mistake is unimpressive and looks to be going nowhere.
  17. So the new normal...
  18. Produce or they should start to look for the next guy. The excuses are gone and either he is going to be a QB competing for a SB or they need to get another QB.
  19. They are trying to build around him but it's just an unimpressive build from every angle. Still looks like a team picking in the top 10 again next year. Getting a new DC would have been a great step and help for him but they doubled down again on Evero. Better than Fritz build but nothing impressive at all with this team still today after another offseason of chances.
  20. I think that room has bodies but plenty of opportunities to take a spot. Lots of bodies but it's quantity over quality for sure.
  21. D. Tet isn't going to be as good as Moore unfortunately and I still don'tthink this team has a good enoufh WR room after consecutive#1 picks. I really wish we didn't keep Evero and it looks like we got more of 'his guys'. Unimpressive TE and WR. I like they took another NT. It wasn't an impressive draft and the level of talent they brought in looks low again. Just more of then same but on the upside they didn't waste future picks to get anyone.
  22. Insurance policies exist for a reason. People have liked drafts in the past that have imploded. He isn't a starter but your paying for known pressure. Again, there are easy cuts sitting there that the team is much better off without.
