  1. Mixed bag I can agree on. Rhule was obvious but now it's all over the place. They also injected leaning into PFFs grades this year.
  2. I agree about the evaluations being more broken but then the development hasn't been impressive either IMO.
  3. In it self no it's not a bad thing. It becomes an issue when they brought back Austin to play on IR most of the season again. That's not a knock on Mays but the situation. It's BC at LG all over. But on the flip side that's how they were forced to go out and sign a good LG the next year. All of the talk and hope of improvement comes down to guys like Mays taking that step. There is something developmentally going on that Im not impressed with going on with this team. Austin and Dalton were 2 guys they obviously can't lean on at this point and yet both are still here taking up space.
  4. Hands on a WR? That's crazy. Next you will tell me the ability to get separation is better than size...
  5. At this point they actually have to prove they are not a bottom 5 team before anyone not selling clicks or tuning in to watch for fun to believe. Have they improved? Sure. Are they good? It does not appear that way at this point. Lots of best case scenarios would have to happen for that to be true and given our history I think I have better odds on a $2 loto ticket winning a jackpot.
  6. It's not a great sign Mays hasn't just out right won that spot yet. Someone said he is like BC and I can't get thst out of my head.
  7. XL was always fools gold. Give me hands and hunger over upside and overdraft every day at WR. The trade just made it comical in my eyes. Whatever, Coker saved them last year and they need to lean on him again this year. XL has shown jackall to earn a starting spot at this point. Hell, maybe it would light a fire under his butt to improve if, when really, Coker takes his reps and jumps him on the depth chart this year.
  8. His only real success was running someone else's D and scheme with a soft decline. That's it. I have no idea what the team sees in him or why they brought him back in a year when they were building on the D heavily. Everything I have seen so far leads me to view this as a deadend.
  9. Killer leg but it's the Jags. If a kicker is your doom from another bottom dweller who also has a 1st year HC in his forst game then it's going to be a brutal season. Sounds like a game Ron would love, the threat of 3 points.
  10. Im not taking this team seriously until they prove they should be taken seriously. 6 wins sound about right so Vagas knows what's up.
  11. I can't take anyone seriously that thought Dalton coming back was a good idea. 2 years of evidence on this team he was already washed. Vinny T had more juice coming off the couch.
  12. Just proving my point. Most anticipated preseason game in history is freaking hilarious.
  13. The Sports media will huff anything and tell you it's exciting. Get reps and figure out how to improve. The rest is for the easily excitable.
  14. It's just practice. They only call it a game because they can tack on more to the ticket holders. Well that and scrimmage confuses some people.
  15. Warm body needs to be replaced by another warm body... The 2 LBers down appear to me as an opportunity more than a negative. Jewell wasn't much and Cherelus hasn't done anything much. Seems like more of an opportunity than anything to me.
  16. It works great. It just isn't what DC wants to do and what he usually doesn't call.
  17. It's just practice. Winning is getting better and showing up game 1 ready to win when it matters.
  18. Damn that doesn't sound good. Still just sounds like he would have been fine with it all if something got done in regards to his contract. Cowboys still being the Cowboys is why I still hang in with the NFL. Trainwreck at it's finest.
  19. You made fun of 2 NFL scrubs and I made fun of all the scrubs that were below them but somehow it's not the same thing. Scrubs as using the NFL as the baseline so yeah it's scrub ball. All I was trying to do is say that what you did is what teams do. You keep responding like it was ever an attack and I was just saying that's how the NFL drafts so poorly every year. Also covid ball vs any other year? Come on. That year was comical form so many angles. Your football takes when NFL are so well thought out and usually grounded but as soon as school ball comes into it you fall into the same thing every team does in evaluations. That's the point and you still can't see it.
  20. So avoidance? Cool. It's weird people watch an inferior product but Im fine with that because I can make fun of it. i just evaluate how it bleeds into this place. You did it and then deflect.
  21. You literally did it right there and didn't even remember it. Sorry long Friday.
  22. You literally were talking about a game he played in as an example. Not his ability but play in scrub time.
  23. Well all the schools are pretty much the same thing with different bank accounts. It only looks different to people who watch that level. My take was who gives AF about those programs vs what the NFL teams do to coach up guys coming in from bigger programs that still need major work. Hell Young came from Bama and still has kid gloves on going into year 3 lols. I just think that people who watch that level of play get it twisted constantly. There are 64 QBs thst are starters and main backups so no shocker that 665 NCAA football teams don't pop out talent good enough for those 64 spots every year...which is what I was saying about those programs. Not trying to be a hit peice but I just don’t care about the schools or their play, just the prospect.
