  1. A lot of it is drafting players that fit systems run by coaches that are no longer here. But yeah, the crack scouts that brought us BY also drafting these guys.
  2. Andy is going to have some bad multiple INT games, but his good games will get us wins.
  3. He also assumes the only way to develop Bryce is to play him. I guarantee I can find a clip of Rex say the Panthers should have sat him for a few years to develop him properly. Just dumb tv poo.
  4. The cap hit will be tough, but who cares. Just get him off the team.
  5. Bryce will never make throws like that. I don’t care how long he sits and learns.
  6. This team is having fun for the first time in a long time.
  7. I’m 100% done with Bryce. I never want to see his little ass play again.
  8. I think if he is traded now, his cap hit this year goes from 8 million to 18 million. Basically, the rest of his big signing bonus that is supposed to be spread out over his rookie contract is applied at once.
  9. I still stand by the idea we had to take a shot. Darnold won us few games too. He’s not winning championships. Where is your take Mr ‘joined 5 months ago’?
  10. We won’t get anything other than his salary off our books. And that’s a maybe. We still might end up paying some of it.
  11. Ouch… “When the Panthers benched Bryce Young, I texted the news to a trusted league source. He quickly responded: “They should bench their program.” I usually think of college football when I hear “program,” but looking at quarterback development structures through that lens is informative. A program encompasses everything: Environment, support staff, planning, teaching philosophy, and the list goes on. Speak to folks around the league about QB development, and they’ll often mention all of these layers as being essential. Carolina is one side of the coin — Minnesota is the other.”
  12. My thoughts too. I remember Canales talking about how proud he was of sticking with the run game in Tampa even when it was bad. He seemed to believe in working through stuff. This feels like a typical Tepper decision.
  13. 1000% this. By game 2 he should have realized his physical limitations. In fact, I’m very sure that hit him early. At that point, it would have been clear accuracy and deep knowledge of nfl defenses would be the only way he could make it. He should have been neck deep improving in these areas. The fact that he wasnt, tells you what you need to know.
