Really there has only been 1 consistent SB winner the las 20 years. Not likely to happen again

I am going to be optimistic here and think Gase is not just QB poison, but poison to the whole team. They really gave Darnold 0 chance to succeed.

We are not taking a QB at 8. It's over, stop with the dreaming. It's more likely we use 8 on the best LT or trade back if they can get a good haul. If a QB is sitting there they will easily get a 1st and 2nd, making losing next years 2nd an after thought.

He already used a draft pick to secure a QB this year.

So Sam is now THE QB of your Carolina Panthers. We all know the terms and no matter how we feel about it, it's time to get behind this guy and make sure he has every chance to succeed. I have been a huge fan of Parsons this whole offseason, but with this trade I feel we have to build the offensive line first and foremost. I would be happy if we went back to back OL. But, this pick may have a lot of potential for a trade back. Imagine the offers we get if Fields or Lance is sitting at 8. So where do we go in this draft now that we know who the starting QB is? Do we sit at 8 and pick Sewell or Slater? Do we go best reciever? Do we trade back and make this trade feel more palatable?

Shocking, I've never read anything optimistic from you.

What was the boldest move this franchise has made?

Unfranchising Norman and Cutting Steve Smith -
I feel the opposite is true. In today's NFL you need more of a game manager type who throws a lot of short and intermediate throws accurately. A gunslinger will at times put your defense in bad position, which the league has made it harder to stop offenses. That being said you want a game manager who can throw deep if needed and can fit a ball into a tight space if needed.

https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/03/30/tony-buzbee-wont-provide-information-regarding-deshaun-watson-to-houston-police-department-after-all/amp/ He claims his adversaries in the police department will do his clients wrong. This lawyer is a joke. If there was wrongdoing on Watson's part, these women should dump the lawyer and go to the police. This really looks like a money grab.

Not the Micah we want, but it's the Micah we get. I guess we will have 2 Micahs

If Sewell is available at 8, we will pick him in less than 10 secs

Looks Great!

No one ever said that TOP led to the scoring offense and defense being ranked where they were. -

Carolina was 9th in the NFL in time of possession. This had a lot to do with both of those rankings. -

So what QB was playing the first 3 quarters? If he wasn't the reason who was. Not the defense for sure -

So asking for a redzone threat and a defense that can make a couple stops is asking for an all star cast? -

Give teddy a true red zone threat and a defense that is able to make at least 2 stops a game and he can win games -

His interceptions went up later in the season when he was pressured to win games and not play his style. -

Really you have no idea what this team would have looked like with a more risk taking QB. Most likely wouldn't have been in many of those situations in the first place. You can't just play Teddy for 3 quarters then insert another QB for different situations. -
Yea I'm not saying he is the answer at QB, but people are saying he is going to play poorly purposely because the team has talked negative about him. To me this doesnt make sense. One more year of Teddy isn't that big of a deal, he was brought in to be a bridge and his contract proves this.
