    These guys all know what they signed up for. They are commodities to the teams who are focused on the short term and keeping the players on the field. The NFL and the teams that constitute it don’t care what the health of the players will be once their careers are over.

    If Wilks wanted to hang his hat on being a defensive guru and was using that angle to get the head coaching job on a permanent basis, he failed miserably. His defense was the same or worse than that of a college coach from the Big 12.

    Foxy had his faults but as a defensive whiz kid he could see that Trubisky was hot garbage. So could anyone else for that matter.
