  1. You get out of mind and stop stealing my post before I do!!111!!!!
  2. I keep going up with him. At first I didn't even want to use the 3rd on him, but time has changed my opinion. The main deal is he most compares to Luke, whom went 9th overall. If you look hard at tape and measures, he is a little BETTER than a HOFer Luke...... So that's needed to overlook his injuries, which only TD played with 3 ACLs and Payton's got 2. Now Im willing to go 39th and 33rd is in the realm too. Im deeply worried about the injuries, but its been 2 years of health.....sure the NFL is a big man league and all, but he's Luke 2.1 college wise. So right now even though panthers should NOT risk early 2s on a player with big injury issues, the reward tells me "You better run and count your blessings if he's NOT a 1st." So 39th and the arrow is still up, 33 is not off the table. FYI this by all means is shaqs last season and the only other LB is Jewell. LB has the least depth and talent on the team. I honestly think one of the teams 20-32 will take the risk and gamble. Plus Id love to hear a pro NFL doctor comment on his medicals too.
  3. While you have a winner at QB on a rookie deal, it is super big brain to go hard. Texans are right about the way are doing this, envy as a panther fan..
  4. This may be the only spot I feel this way about, but no need to invest here. Each year there are big name FAs and cuts *for now. Just sign one at a below market cost and use draft picks on DL, OL, CB, and WR. Herniay always pissed me off about using draft picks here, then he'd over pay by miles as well. RB market is bargain central and loads of players to go around. Plus RB is one of the better UDFA spots with success.
  5. This maybe, well not correct of saying- I feel they lost talent overall, *but got better fits. So does that mean they improve?? That's one formula model I haven't crack. Example college BB roster. One team has stayed together all 4 years and the other is the 5 star freshman group. WHo wins? I've seen both sides win before. Panthers got some players that had some of their better seasons with the coaches. Like Im the biggest luvu guy there is, but I think Jewell will have more impact *as a pure LB/MLB.(I'd put luvu as OLB other side of Burns and told him to kill the person with the ball.) So I think they will play better as a team, but I still feel winning over 2 games would be just as hard as this past year given the decrease in overall talent. The true fix to this is young talent. Period!. That's mainly comes from the draft. I will feel better once Danny boy starts drafting some.....hell just decent/average players would be a improvement.....
  6. He's ALWAYS getting into mini-fights every game during STs. Honestly I had hopes hed turn into a TD58 version, but being a ST ace is gold as well...
  7. laugh if you want, YGM had his best year. Djax played 16 games most as the #1 CB since horn was being horn. Bell play above average Id say and was cut with no cap help. Gruger-hill and Jones were vet backups at LB, I haven't seen them replaced either.
  8. Yes and I need to see how he attacks the draft.
  9. Take this as a pure rumor- panthers loved barton and are eyeing him with the 33rd. @Verge what have you heard??
  10. Well maybe they will win 4 games......jokes aside, that's not an over pay(unlike hunt). Clowney has a bad rep about being lazy, but in recent years he may have changed that. IMO he just had his best season, but it was with ravens players. Plus imo, this doesn't change the draft for me. Lastly, I know during Houston he played end like JJ watt. With turtle, brown and newly signed A'Shawn Robinson...... where does clowny play??....., it cannot be OLB at 32 years old is it? I get DL rotate, just seems 4 guys for 3 spots and egos about starting could cause issues.
  11. I always had a backup thing for siemian....I still think he can spin it. raiders already signed my #1 guy..
  12. You and I been around long enough to witness the chaotic NFC south, no team was safe and each year was pulling names out of the hat no matter the year before.... Not to say Id lay a heavy bet, but I feel this year, it will a easy road for falcons......but all it would take is arod jets cousins atl deal happen and who knows. I'd even say there's a 2% chance freaking Carolina shocks the world. Just like last year, dennis "mfing" Allen and Todd "In the" bowels are still coaching, somehow. I think that's one of best things caralas did, give bowels another year. Baker found himself (fluke best year??) and carr sucked, but hows Baker without the helping hands of canales?? I like morris last year for the Panthers and falcons have nearly everything needed minus a elite pass rusher. If they get Dallas turner and he's that dude(I think its high %), watch out they may sweep nfc south and go a couple rounds in the playoffs. They play tough. Then if cousins has a setback and Morris forgets defensive............and somehow Canales is a elite warlock COTY.....HAIL TO THE P-A-N-T-H-E-R-S
  13. Yea, this is a big overlook by us panthers fan high on the hopuim. Tampa Bay was struggling hardcore until like week 10. Also Baker was doing his best Wilson 3rd down magic to carry the team. Ask or visit the cesspool of Tampa forums, it was a ugly start and fans already wanting heads to roll mid-season. Lucky they found the fire starter before the season ended. Panthers gave him big issues and both games panthers had a decent chance to win. I think one was 9-0,lols... I will not be one cause I think getting just 3 wins will be miracle-tier.
  14. You know the main goal of this is driven by increasing scoring cause gamblers and younger fans prefer 49-35 games to 20-17 ones. So sick of this BS, not long ago it was impossible to change rules yearly, now they can not stop adding a few each year.....just stop. Im as close to leaving the NFL as I have been, only remaining issue is the Panthers and tepper has worked on that!! I cannot quit the panthers........
  15. Yea, it almost feels like young was selected by the NFL to play for carolina and Carolina just found out right afterwards..... I still hold the claim no chance former players like Dan, mccown and even Reich met face-to-face with young and still thought " Hes the one..." Im waaaaay past wanting to fire the entire scouting staff held over form the herniay days, those guys are horrific!! followed young for 5 years my arse.....fire those BUMS!
  16. It was reported by some of the beat reporters he wanted David Carr. Not a small amount either... Plus it was proven recently that frank, Thomas brown, and campy were not on the same page/thinking. It's a big mess when your OL doesn't know how far the QB is off the ball during the week. Brown wanted to try different plays and frank wanted to stick to their Frankenstein playbook made during the off-season. It wouldn't surprise me if fittererererer told frank after a few weeks "guess what, we are trading for the #1 pick" before Frank agreed with it. FItterererer had David tepper putting massive amount of pressure to find a "franchise" QB and after failing to land Watson, stafford and the darnold fumble.......the only remaining way was to trade into the top 1-3. That maybe the biggest fail of them all.....
  17. Bruh, we are still on shitt on Tepper 24/7 cycle until panthers post a winning record...... its even listed on the huddle rules when newbs sign up.....
  18. Profootballrumors has keep me informed on the NFC south for the last couple years. It's like what profootballtalk was 15 years ago. I still think falcons run away with it this year and next. But cousins has to show his age and injury haven't sat him back any. Panthers need lots of luck, great drafts, and young to be good....then maybe in 4 or so years they can take back the crown.
  19. Honestly rather they punt form the 50 than what ever this is......
  20. muh fooozeball ain't what it use to be.....
