I heard they fired the GM over the aj brown deal. Varbel was PISSSSSSSSED OFF that the gm didnt want to pay brown and then when nuked after he traded him (plus the return was awful). Owner got wind of allll this and choose a new GM....

Theres other options- tag, trade, or offer much less than that.... if they feel hes going to blow up in the the new 3-4, could sign him to a fair deal now. But if he wants that 4yr 96mill, someone else can deal with that. Good thing is young is on a rookie contract for the next 4ish yrs, that allows the panthers to spend else where...

I want to hold the other to as least points as possible. I do not care if young fumbles on the other team gets the ball on the 3 yard line. Stop them form getting a TD, or better return the TO on them. The league pays players that can upset QBs. 0.99 can do that, sure his run defense needs improvement, but guess what....in a 3-4 he will be in coverage on a few plays now, defending the run doesnt matter as much now when hes on a slot WR. I bet the huddle will be crying about his coverage skills by week 5.....something new hes learning as i type..

Not every 250 man can hold a edge against those protein fuled 340 manbeast... burns was not a great 4-3 fit, blame the team for that.....3-4 looking like a winner, just got to show the work. If he were still in a 4-3, id beggg him to do some grip strength stuff, but a LB/OLB/DE/0.99 agent knows better than I given the new defense. His speed looks non-human on the twitter/SM stuff.

This is one of those topics......man it can go many ways about the feelings. Personal- Brian Burns needs HELP. besides one yr of reddick, hes had very little help. Could it be dbrown this yr??? I mean teams are super smart, they watch film and go "Im not worried about x,y, z......but we have to stop Burns." Hes never had great coaching for, no diss-respect to Rivera.....but just in general. I think thats different this year tho.... Has he played too light, I know I felt that way when he entered the league as an ultra young pup. He just added clean weight each year and Ive seen his workouts this year....3-4 looks like a glove fit for the new spiderman 0.99 If he likes the team and the queen, please stay. I hope Mr Tepper can spare a couple dollars to make it work for all sides.... Thank god for an owner like him.

Thanks for sharing, good stuff here. Fans need to bring the energy, but the team has to help with that too. I think there needs to be a good mix for the wine and cheesers along with the 20-40 fans. You job isnt easily, reading the crowd and feeling the game flow... plus i know it must suck if the panthers are down by 20+ with no hope of winning.....id play the price is right sad noise on repeat....

I mean theres been run on top 8 draft picks, which is not good. But, big changes this off-season- minus tabor and campy whole new coaching staff(in which I think is the best in panther history.) Theres always turn over from year to year, 35-50% new players will be on the 2023 65 roster than the 2022 one. Panthers seem very young too, minus the grandpas on STs.... New 3-4 D and new O system, new rookie QB, new asst GM(among other FO). Im in wait and see mode, but I sure did love nearly all moves....i didnt even talk much about the killer free agency haul- sanders, tuttle, hurst, bell, theilen, clark, and a bunch of value signing like byrd, DTs, rowe, et etc. Training camp in the oven should be fun...
